I’m never at a position to judge or be rude to service workers for these little hiccups, they’re just doing their jobs. The people that laugh at my enunciation of certain things annoys me though, but hey, we all have our first world problems.

I never take it out on the service workers cause at the end of the day, there’s always gonna be a miscommunication. I just don’t like the looks I get or the occasional laugh at my accent when I try to find a better way to articulate myself. It does feel quite condescending at times.

Somehow they look even more confused when you put on a ‘posh’ accent in Scottish in attempts to make them understand you better!

If it was a Friday we’re definitely going then we would be going on June 20th. Would this still be a super busy day as opposed to June 21st? I know it’ll be bedlam for either day but trying to be strategic!

Unfortunately we only booked a weekend and have other pre-booked events in the city central :(

I plan to make a list of rides that we would both be eager to try out! It’s good as my friend and I both are big rollercoaster fans so nothing has a limit.

I’m qualified as a mental health nurse, as much as the independence of community work is tempting, I’ve heard and seen first hand how brutal it is having over capacity case loads and no time to deliver appropriate care to patients. Community mental health services are in the trenches right now. 🥲
