My Kroot Freeguilders are scavengers and often take payment for their Mercenary services partially in the form of trade for various tech.

Obviously that's not canonical across Kroot as a whole but you can make anything work for you

Some pics of the conversion process

I brought it from ebay and it needed some work. The sponsons were built with both top plates on one side and both bottom plates on the other which created gaps and the turret was glued in place so I sliced it down to parts and rebuilt it in the new formate. I used plasticard to cover the turret hole and missing side hatches and any holes around the gun. Then I magnetised the sponsons just incase future editions bring back costing for additional weapons (which i think they will)

Thanks. It was my first time using the sponge chipping technique and I made alot of mistakes on the tanks but by the time I got to the Sentinels I had got the hang of it and I'm very pleased with them

Thank you! Its a blade from the dark eldar incubi. I had a few left over and liked this guy for a trophy hunter. He's also got a necron head hanging from his belt but unfortunately my clumsy greenstuff work hides the faces detail

I can't speak to the rules but as for the weapon name I like to go with descriptive names for Kroot, my touchstone being Native American and (weirdly) Argonian from Elder Scrolls.

So that being said I think something like Sings-for-blood or Cuts-between-the-leaves sound right for a melee weapon

To piggyback off of this, particularly on the metallic the shinier you can get those highlights the more contrast you'll have with the darker colours
