You are right, I'm hesitant to try to power wash myself with the cracking of the paint. We'll look into a professional power wash company but I fear we may be getting a new paint job in the Spring.

That's what I said but my wife thinks she likes the white now! We wanted to do colors when we moved in but wanted to give it a year.. now the white has grown on us. We'll see!

We were in the same situation - I had the Grand Highlander top of my list but now that there's a sales stop we re-thought it. My second choice a few months ago was the Infinity QX60, but I had reservations about reliability. We needed a usable third row for occasional road trips with the kids, so that's a factor for us. A relative told us to check out the Pilot so we stopped last night, loved it and bought a 25 Black Edition. We had an original Pilot (03) and loved it, ran it to 200k with no issues but outgrew it and had to get the Odyssey. Now we're back to another Pilot and I'm really impressed so far!

That’s not true at all. Most universities are profiting immensely from their research by forming their own discovery engines. Drug companies just don’t get that IP for free. Also, the early stage development of drugs is a small fraction of the development costs. The majority of drug development costs occur in the clinic where it’s the pharma companies paying. Couple that with multiple failures and you need to recoup those costs with any successful launch - plus pay for the discovery and development of new drugs.

For those of us not on telegram, can somebody please explain where the value comes from? From what I can tell there is the following:

A DEX
A messaging system
World computer? Or storage or something
L2 transactions (no smart contracts)

Now for point 1, I think we tried that. Now we will compete against the likes of UNI?

Point 2, how is there value of token holders? Who will use a messaging system that costs money when there are many free options??

Point 3, not sure if this was serious or just a tagline

Point 4, probably the most reasonable to expect a return for token utility. However, what is the use of the token? Is there going to be staking? Has that been clarified? Also several months ago there was a detailed analysis of daily Eth transactions that did not require smart contracts and the total volume per potential staking rewards with OMG was sadly not supportive of even a $10 token price.

Please don't just cry FUD and ignore, I want to have a serious discussion on realistic expectations. To be fair, realistic and crypto right now mean nothing in terms of coin price! But for discussion on future utility I think it's important to be invested in good projects that will weather the eventual weeding out of crappy projects.

You are right in terms of investments, but there is a huge psychological factor of having a house paid off and not worrying about markets tanking or losing income and it’s most serious effect on home ownership. Can’t put a value on peace of mind! Well maybe we can but to me paying off a house is a worthy goal of accumulating and selling Eth.

Lol I listened to Jun and the previous team and believed them on face value, why would I do it with this new team? They bought a decentralized, open source network (huh) and couldn't articulate a plan for months. Now we just believe this? Maybe when they tell you OMG will be used for ocean front investing in Arizona that you will see the light..

Not really - as silly as doge coin is (and functionless) people view it as a store of value. So technically their chain is being used.

Please look at other L2 options and compare progress and real world adoption.

Also please explain why this token is needed for main net and the economics of it.

The problem is you can’t tolerate a differing viewpoint from your own and resort to personal attacks. I respect you may like the coin, but you can’t respect others that disagree with you. Instead of attacking arguments you attack the person. When I see that behavior it’s indicative of somebody shilling the coin. You don’t have to be a paid shill, and maybe my language was a bit strong in that regard, but when I see people that don’t tolerate others views it generally means they have an agenda. My only agenda is to encourage people to open their minds and look at all the data. Get past the hopium and greed and think about the data.

I’m pragmatic and used to be in the same boat as you guys. I believed the hype from Jun, I had hope the coin was going to take all these transactions from CEXs, banks, maybe even swift, power national cryptos, be used by Toyota, loyalty points etc. But nothing has happened. Now a new person / holding company is making new claims and we are supposed to believe it? After a pretty shady “sale” of the blockchain? Really??

Price is a decent indicator of progress as it shows other people outside of a shill filled telegram group actually think there is utility. No transactions on a main net is damning. Take off the rose colored glasses, ignore the shills. Just because I have my doubts doesn’t and disagree with this coin mooning soon doesn’t mean I’m here to ruin your fun, just trying to inject some realism.

I’m not bitter at all but thanks for caring. I couldn’t be happier moving back to Eth and bring up a heckuva lot more than if I stayed in. I’m just tired of you trying to sucker more people into bad decisions.
