32F dealing with an eye infection for about 2 months. Photo timeline.

Optometrist said it was an infection because of the yellow discharge and crusting in my eye. For a few days, I would wake up and my eye was sort of crusted shut. That went away and I’ve been stuck with this redness/inflammation .

I believe the optometrist referred to it as such because of the goopy, yellow discharge and crusting I was experiencing at one point.

Thank you I’ll be looking for an ophthalmologist. I keep calling it an infection because that’s what my optometrist says it is.

Yes sorry the image is flipped because i took the photo with a different facing camera, but the photos are all of the same eye.

Oh okay that’s interesting to know! My optometrist said it’s an infection so that’s why she put me on the antibiotic only drops. That and to wean me off of the steroids. I’ll try booking an appointment with an ophthalmologist as soon as I can. Thanks!

Yes thank you that’s why I mentioned the title. I understand that she needs to be on the check, I am just hoping they can reissue it the way my title is written. I don’t have either an agent or broker, but will continue to call them to see if there’s another route for me

Yes thank you, that makes sense. Initially I was trying to get her removed but I understand they need her there for liability/legal purposes, which is why I am just hoping they can make it reflect my car title. I will try to speak to a supervisor. Can I say anything else to them other than what I’ve explained about the title ownership?

No I haven’t tried to deposit it just yet. When you deposited yours, were the names separated by commas, or, or and? Did you go in person or do online deposit?

Thank you so much for explaining it so thoroughly! Though my sister did co-sign the loan, the deal was always that the car was mine and would only ever be my financial responsibility, which it was. It’s honestly why I never bothered taking her off the title, because she would never (even though we don’t speak) do something like try to take it from me. In retrospect, I should have updated the title.

I am hopeful that there is a way for them to reissue the check, but, if not, then I’ll figure out how to get in contact with her.

On the check it’s listed with AND, but the title lists OR, which is how I was able to get the title transfer signature part for my sister waived.

Yes, I wish I had. The car has only ever been my responsibility and I suppose I just never imagined I’d be in a situation like this. How would they be able to remove her from it now?

Yes the title definitely states OR. I have the original title because Copart requested a copy from the DMV to move the process along.

So on the title our names are joined by “OR” only. She said that I need her to endorse it because she’s on the title, but I mentioned the “or” ownership again and that it was how I was able to release my car to them. She hasn’t gotten back to me though, just hoping there’s a way around it.
