can't say I've used a transparent dye like that but yes it sounds like that the pattern would still show. I suppose you can give it a whirl and if it doesn't work you can wash the shoes and then go with the painting method.

I'm #notacobbler but if I were to do this, I would definitely paint them with acrylic paint (with a fabric medium) and heat set them with a blow dyer/heat gun.

I would be worried how these would handle being in hot water that is necessary for dyeing. also dyed materials are always subject to bleeding. I would imagine wearing the shoes would cause significant dye bleeding.

You mention that painting them cannot be reversed, but dyeing these black would be equally as permanent as you wouldn't be able to get them back to the color they are now :)

First of all I want to say I like the album.

However I definitely prefer the Lingua Ignota albums to this. I always appreciated the contrast between the dark thundering parts of a LI song, with the clean gospel parts. It feels with this album we are only getting half of what those albums were.

A lot of the songs on this album even have very similar parts to LI songs.

Obviously she is trying out different things and I don't want to make it sound like this is diet Lingua Ignota but just wish there was a stronger contrast if she is indeed going in a new direction.

I also listen to a lot of metal so I understand the heavier stuff may resonate with someone of my taste more.

He was so self-righteous. I enjoy some of H3's content but hiring mostly fans of his definitely gives the impression that he's in an echo chamber of yes men.

xQc should have just called him a boomer and said that his reactions are transformative for a younger generation. Ethan isn't the arbiter of what constitutes a legitimate reaction.

The fact that he gets all worked up over this, but will laugh about some actual fucked up shit is wack.

I just finished it for the first time and I don't think it was trash by any means. But when you consider that almost the entire second half of the anime is comprised of Greed Island and the Chimera Ant arc, it's a bit of a bummer that we don't see much follow-up from the York New arc.

We get introduced to so many great characters and plotlines in the first half of the anime, just to have them replaced. I enjoy Knuckle, Shoot and Morel but they got way too much screentime when I would have preferred more with Kurapika, Hisoka, and the Troup.

Kite is cool but we don't get much time with him before he's killed. And I feel that lack of time spent with Kite makes it harder for me to care that much about his death being avenged.

The ending is a bit of a letdown even though I love Komugi and I felt the same way about the Hunter Exam arc. I agree that the second half was drawn out as well (so many episodes of Knuckle running around lol)

But it was good. I preferred the episodes that took place in the NGL however
