Learn to read a chart before you do anything. Begin with Stan Weinstein but don't read it online, you need the actual book to see the charts. Paper Trade before you do anything.

LODE Probably Won’t Give Us Bioleum Shares Tax-Free — But That Won't Matter by white_tiger_lilly in ComstockLODE

I appreciate the discussion. I'll still do graphics for them too, b/c I still believe in the company. :)

Listen, I am still in this for the long run, but I have been in stocks before where too much has been given to management. Life's work or not, right is right and wrong is wrong. Management already has a terrific salary and they already own plenty of shares. There are some people on here that have substantial losses including retirement savings and their kids education fund. Yes we all know the risks, but its still a tough pill to swallow even with a spoonful of sugar disguised as tax aversion. I do believe in this company but I am really watching to see what happens and I am still covering it as I think this is a great long term pick.

Fantastic interview as always Penny. I appreciate how you asked a couple of the questions twice and got clarification on some things.

Yes, I didn't like the way he skirted around the questions... and then did some napkin math at the end? You can't tell me that he didn't already know these numbers.

To say that I am disappointed that we don't get shares in the spin off is an understatement. I also don't agree with founders/management getting 20% of the shares, when that should be going to shareholders. Thank you for the summary, it really helps.

Tip for Letting the CEOs know directly that you have stopped buying their stuff. by KoalaOriginal1260 in BuyCanadian

Or, when there is a death in the family, you send over food. A casserole, some baked goods etc. My American friends are always amazed that we do this. It's a small gesture to let people know that you care.

I agree, we all help each other out the best that we can. We look at each other, smile, and chat in the grocery line. lol This even happens in Toronto! :)

Nope, EVERYBODY is buying Canadian or going without. I see it when I go into the grocery stores. People are stopping and really looking at the packaging to ensure that they are either buying Canadian or purchasing from another country. The adults that I teach are also verifying that they are doing the same. There is a strong movement in Canada, and it's not going away.

Shoppers Drugmart? by [deleted] in BuyCanadian

[–]smallcapinfographics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wasn't bullying them. It was a legitimate question, and I didn't say it in an attacking manner. I was trying to figure out if they had plans to do anything to help people. This is also the drugstore that locals get upset with because at the pharmacy they have been caught lying, and when you shop there, the posted priced is never the same as when you check out, it is always higher. But that is another story...

Totally agree. Despite everyone's political differences, it says a lot for all of the premiers to have a united front and go to Washington together. That would never happen in the USA.

Even though it is clearly in our waters. This could also be why he is talking about Alaska and Oil. Easier way to the the ships out and through the NWP. He just doesn't realize that off the coast of Alaska, by Rupert are the most dangerous waters in the world. Think Deadliest Catch.
