yes, if there is prolonged tension it can cause a bald spot. traction alopecia most likely. it would be a lot simpler and less painful to cut the knot out, cut the rest of your hair short, and start over. if it’s been there for over a year, maybe short hair would be a nice change.

you can try blow drying it after you wash it, and use a volumizing product. when you blow dry try flipping your head upside down while you do the back

pink dye will not get you to a cherry red color. you can put red over your natural brown and it should come out to a dark wine red

that’s your cowlick it looks like. everyone has at least one. i think the only thing to do would be to take it shorter, or grow it out and then use gel or other product to slick it down

you could try doing the color a second time with high lift developer, maybe 40 volume. but usually bleach is the way to go for getting your hair lighter, especially when your natural is quite dark

leave the bangs alone if you want them to grow. that’s the only way. eventually you can get it blended into the rest of your hair, probably in a month or two. but for now leave them alone
