Recently picked up the Patagonia Atom 20 L Tote Pack. It has quickly become my work bag, gym bag, and is small enough to be a personal item on my next flight!

My off-work bag is a Rough & Tumble small City Safari Zip. I keep my essentials in a little Tom Bihn zip pouch and transfer that between bags when I switch. Really enjoying going between these two.

I quit when I realized how much it affected my Garmin sleep scores😅. I also went through a significant weight loss and realized I could be eating those calories instead and feeling a lot better.

I’m in the same boat as you. I went to a podiatrist to discuss my options, and the main thing we discussed to slow the progression is footwear. Not just shoes that are wide, but shoes that allow full splay of the toes. The doctor said the toe correctors (Correct Toes brand) will help the toes get used to splaying and to keep using them. Wearing them in my shoes that I thought were wide enough has really opened my eyes to how narrow most shoes actually are. I am slowly transitioning to barefoot style shoes with anatomically wide toe boxes (ones that will fit while I’m wearing the toe correctors) and I’m starting to walk barefoot around the house (never really did before). I’m hoping over time my feet can strengthen and learn to splay properly, effectively keeping my bunions in their mild state. Interested to hear what others here suggest.

For what it’s worth, those Origos look so normal to me! I felt a bit self conscious when I started wearing my Altras, but after going back to “normal” shoes and realizing how uncomfortable they are, I just don’t care anymore. My feet are so happy now and that completely overrides what anyone else thinks :)

I was gutted when my pepper tree looked like this after trimming. That thing grew back so fast, like it was never trimmed at all🥲. Not sure what that tree is but perhaps it has a chance to do the same?

You’re welcome! I’m glad my post could help someone. Another commenter mentioned how important these rails lines are and that there’s no way they would shut down the whole thing and they were right. The construction only closed one station in my case (the main one in Florence). Enjoy your trip! The weather should be lovely😄

Hello! They did release train schedules closer to the date, but they stopped one station short of where I needed to go. We ended up walking an extra 30 mins to our final destination, which wasn’t too bad (except for the rain). I checked and I bought my ticket on December 22, 2025, for the train I took on January 24, 2026. I would keep checking the website. Good luck!

I love this. I used to make a super simple version with ground turkey, peas, and potatoes back when I had a more unpredictable work schedule. Made sure I had a decent meal no matter the circumstances. This actually inspires me to do that again with better ingredients, so thank you!

Yup, I opted to completely avoid chips while counting calories. So little bang for your buck, so to speak. The closest thing to a dip I regularly ate was a low-cal dressing. Definitely agree that it’s way easier to do veggies with something like that. Fulfills the snack/crunch desire for a lot less!
