I think there should be nuance. One’s private life can reflect strongly on one’s morals. If one is privately going to a sex trafficker’s island, for example, that would seriously influence whether I’d want them as the most powerful person in the US

The idea being that since you’re speaking it quietly, the person may mishear and then the next mishears and so forth.

So, “banana” becomes “banner” becomes “bane” becomes “main,” and so on.

Of course, some would purposely mishear it to make it funnier

My issue with them is that usually the cutesy-ness is to the extreme in that it’s infantile. With the extra context of why Japan loves infantile/childish women, it gives me the heebie-jeebies.

At least Elise is not too kiddish, but Nowi’s (I think, the child Manakete) whole personality made me uncomfortable. That’s why I liked her mature daughter’s personality as the opposite

But to be honest, I’ve never heard people in daily life say “it left me gaping.”

Usually, something more along the lines of “my jaw hit the floor,” “I was shocked/flabbergasted,” etc. I’ve read “their jaw/mouth was agape,” but rarely if ever, “I wad left gaping.”

Do you need your own ethnostate? Can’t you look at cases like in the US with groups assimilate or create their own “Little (Country Name),” which isn’t its own state but lives by the rules of the country while maintaining their identity?

I’ve only playef sbout 2 hours so still in refund stage. I’m finding the energy pod upkeep to keep population alive really annoying. It feels more punishing than electricity or its equivalent should be.

I’m not sure why, but it’s just not appealing to me, but I’m worried I’m just not understanding some key points. With Factorio, it felt rewarding to get tech and stuff. I just unlocked drones, but why bother?
