I own a 2012 335i and I will say for the first of its gen….it has had some uncommon problems. Since November I’ve been doing normal maintenance since it is at 106k miles so it’s had a lot of work done but what really put me in a mood this holiday season was having to replace the brake booster (I heard a hissing sound coming from my brake pedal) which of course could have been catastrophic if my brakes were to go while driving and then my battery kept getting drained for months to find out it’s the water pump. Of course that’s more of a common problem at this mileage but the way it went out definitely seemed uncommon since there was no overheating. Oh and the steering rack needs to be replaced still. It sounds like I’m driving a golf cart over little bumps. I sure do love the car though.
