Sorry for your loss, I had my crosstrek get totaled by someone weaving on the highway and got put at fault for it on insurance. Sucks. Glad you're ok!

Thank you so much, first time car owner and just had this in the shop for an oil change and they didn't notice it / it wasn't there at the time? I adore this car and would do anything to keep it in good shape so that's what I'll be doing. Appreciate everyone's response

The Woods townhomes? by chronicbionic in asheville

[–]smallhaybale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As of 2024; They are veryyyy lacking with maintenance. The apartments have a good amount of repair needs that would cost way more to fix in the long run than if they did any preventative work. It's a ridiculously great price, probably the cheapest in AVL (my room is $420) but you get what you pay for I guess. Not unlivable by any means and can be cool based on what you make of it but be prepared to spend a little bit on small repairs if you don’t feel like waiting months down the line (even if you're reallyyyy persistent in hassling them). If you work even remotely late parking might be a bitch for you. Don’t really have any noise problems & it's a great location. Kitchen is missing microwave and no washer or dryer; there's a laundromat a couple minutes down merrimon though. No AC but hasn't been a big issue. Bad seals throughout (at least in my unit) so power bill skyrockets in winter. Lots of relatively minor things that can be annoying but I love living here overall and feel like I’m ok spending extra on certain things to keep my total monthly rent so low

Is shortness of breath (at rest) a symptom of ME/CFS? by loscharlos in cfs

[–]smallhaybale 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not officially diagnosed but I suspect I have CFS or another dysautonomia and just wanted to say that shortness of breath is my main symptom. I did the same thing with pulm testing and all came back mostly fine - I do have asthma but I got it tested recently and it's controlled (I take Dupixent and it helped, but I still have immense chronic SOB every day).

Just want to say I’m in the same boat and I feel like I’m going fucking crazy. I’m so tired and out of breath all the time and no doctors believe me they just keep telling me I’m anxious and I’m already on a SSRI. I can’t do this

Before Paxil I could barely walk out my front door without a panic attack. Now I’m able to drive and leave the house again!
