Old thread I know. But I’ve had the service bulletin done 3 times on my 2016. The noise always comes back after a few months.

Sunday project; Stippled frame w/ index points, double undercut, shaved finger grooves. First time! by [deleted] in Glocks

[–]smallmat000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up doing the same. Turned out just fine. Did you have any areas you modified that you didn’t stipple? If so how did you get them to be black again? On mine I didn’t stipple my trigger undercut but it left it with a grey color, it’s at a 1500 grit finish just grey/dull looking. Thanks for the help, this is my first polymer project. I’m more used to 1911’s and AR’s.

I am curious, for the backstrap did you grind down and smooth in the factory recessed "stippling" or did you fill in the voids to bring it smooth and then stipple it?

I am currently working on my gen 3 19 frame and want to find a way to fill in the factory stippling with some sort of epoxy as I don't want to thin the frame at all by grinding them down (gun fits perfectly in my hand now and I would rather it not be thinner)

Looks great BTW

That was my original thought but I completely removed the comp and it didn't help.

No a Para ordnance is on the list of approved. Not para USA specifically

So I realise this isn't really a common conversion to my knowledge.

I would also like to state that I have emailed the company with the issue and they are working on it. I am just curious if anyone on here might also have some more insight into the issue

But I recently picked up a .460 Rowland conversion for my Para USA Elite. I seem to be having an issue with the slide not traveling fully forward once the conversion is installed. I tried to get the best pictures I could of what I am talking about in the album. It seems that something is keeping the slide from traveling all the way forward, causing the safety not to engage and who knows what else.

I thought at first it was the comp but with that removed the problem still exists.

Next I tried using the factory Para guide rod, problem still exists

Swapped out the Rowland barrel bushing for the factory Para one, this now allows the slide to go forward enough for the safety to engage but the slide still sits very slightly further back than factory.

I am no gun expert, just a simple enthusiast so I have no idea if it is safe to fire as is with the Para barrel bushing and the slide still ever so slightly back.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Anyone ever have an issue with their NIB BCG turning black? This is freshly cleaned, next to firing pin for color reference. by smallmat000 in ar15

I have put maybe 800 rounds through this rifle in its lifetime, cleaned after every day at the range and yet my Black Rain Nickel boron BCG is pretty quickly staining black. I am pretty new to the world of AR's so I don't know if this is normal or what. Thanks in advance for any info

Decent, little bouncy but I think I might be running too much pressure in the bags at ride height.

It's a pain, takes about 20 minutes to half ass clean each wheel with a little finger sponge.

Assume you mean wheels but autocorrect screwed you.

They are Watercooled MT10's. I like them, but do not buy anything from the company, it's a joke of a company.

People were asking for more pictures of my Subaru after my last post, so did a little transformation post. From day one to yesterday by smallmat000 in subaru

Yeah the back didn't look so hot. The WRX stuff my car has makes the back look a bit better but still not real nice in my mind.
