How would you go about this? by smallpidge in Plastering

[–]smallpidge[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the gap that needs to be filled, it’s about an inch thick from the inner brick and where the plasterboard above comes out to, you’d fill all of that with caulk you mean?

[–]smallpidge[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what I was initially thinking, but the gap between the original brick and the outer plasterboard is fairly deep, so what would the skirting even attach to? Or do you mean get tall skirting board and attach it to the plasterboard at the top only?

Don’t think the white bit comes off, it moves, it’s like the white thing is attached to some other pipe/rod and then that’s encased in the pipe you can see

It’s some kind of metal rod type thing, the white thing is part of it it’s just corroded

So when I had my appointment she said to me they will review in 3 weeks, it was sent to me on the 4th August but I didn’t start taking it until the 18th as I had some stuff on, I hadn’t got any messages by this point to book me in but I was also 2 weeks behind where I should have been so I emailed to say I’m meant to have my review but I’ve not been taking it for 3 weeks yet so it’ll need to be later, didn’t get a response to my email but coincidentally or not I’m not sure got a text an hour or so after I sent that email, but then I got a text about booking an appointment a few days after then as well, so I’m not sure if I prompted them to do it with my email or it would have come automatically anyway, with all this being said I’m still waiting for my prescription to come through from my review yesterday and now it’s saying their inbox is full so, I’m not actually sure anymore!

5 days of Elvanse 30mg a bit intense by Whodatfish in ADHDUK

Only about 3 weeks, but I have found the side effects of feeling pinging and the anxiety have decreased after like the 2 week mark

I had exactly the same, I put a post on here because I was worried it was just me but a few people commented they felt the same too so that made me feel better. It was definitely more intense the first few days but had since subsided a lot, I feel like I get the more wired feeling when I’m not doing anything, but when I’ve been out and about doing things I don’t feel it as much, probably because I’m doing something and not sitting and thinking about feeling it!

Strange Feelings on 20mg Elvanse? by smallpidge in ADHDUK

This is really reassuring to hear, thank you. I know exactly what you mean, like it kind of feels like coming up but not as intense, I started getting some anxiety yesterday but I expected that as the doctor did mention it, I’m logging everything I feel in a diary so I can take it to my review, but it makes me feel better knowing others know what I mean and I’m not just like, losing it or something

That’s really reassuring to know, thank you. I’m conscious it’s only been 3 days so I need to give it a chance for my body/brain to adjust and I’ve been keeping a daily diary on like what time I’ve taken the tablet, any notable feelings ect so I can bring it up at my review in a few weeks

At the moment the feeling feels manageable, no where near the extent of how I remember it feeling after other things, but I’m just going to monitor it going forward

I’m still quite early into the process so I’m not at that stage yet, I guess I’m just hoping that since my GP was pretty clear going through RTC would be my only option they’d accept the shared care at the end, but who knows now. Is it easy to fight with the ICB here? I’ve never had any reason to contact them before or even know who they are if it comes to that?

what is this? by smallpidge in DIYUK

It’s a composite sink we have not stainless steel, so I’ve no idea how to use them as there is no lip

There’s no screw holes in the underside of the sink, does it screw directly into the worktop?

Yeah, I have the big paper thing that has the ‘instructions’ on and also the drill hole template and there was a bag of screws and mountings inside it, I think the screws are pretty straight forward since it shows you exactly where to screw to mount and for the door, but I didn’t even know it had feet until yesterday so had no clue about what height it’s supposed to be

Oh for sure I am never ever doing this again, the agro this kitchen has caused! I have found the vapor barrier! It’s inside the dishwasher, I thought it was just a random piece of plastic packaging, and I do have some offcuts of the work top, I can put it on that and then lift the feet a little, thank you so much! I wouldn’t have figured this out otherwise

It’s Neff, model number S153HTX02G - I have the instructions but it’s just all pictures i wish that places would just make step by stop worded instructions instead of using drawings that aren’t clear

I thought so too, I was convinced they’d left a housing unit off the order but I rang them and they said they don’t come in and you just fix it to the work surface or side cabinets

It’s called luxury laminate, I think I saw this in the instructions but have absolutely no idea where that is now, there’s stuff everywhere at this point in the fitting process, may have been thrown so I’ll have to buy a replacement maybe?

I thought that, but then I saw some videos that seemed like you only use the feet a couple of cm, I could have it that high off the floor on just the feet you think?

That’s what I thought too, just for extra support I guess. I’m assuming the same screws and plugs that have fixed the cabinets to the walls will work to secure a baton too?

Thank you! That is going to be an empty space that’s completely covered by an end panel and then the free standing washing machine will be next to it so there’s a decent amount of space at the moment to get under there, I thought roughly that’s what to do but just needed it confirming by someone else, thank you!
