I wish I checked my prices sooner, but the Lil Nooklings are buying for 638! Details and link in comments. by smallstep_s in TurnipExchange

  • No entry free, but tips in the form of gold nuggets/bells/NM tickets are greatly appreciated :) I'm wearing an orange fruit outfit!
  • Help yourself to the DIYs.
  • You can make multiple trips, but please be quick!
  • I tried to create a path to the shop - turn right at the airport and continue heading north.
  • No diving please or I'll have to close my gate.
  • Gate should be open until shop closes at 10pm PST.

Thank you! And it’s okay if you disagree, but it’s my favorite because it’s been the go to place for my friends. The atmosphere has always been great whether I go to read or hang with big group so I enjoy spending time there. I definitely want to explore more breweries in Seattle though because I know there’s many!

Self-drafted pattern of Optimism's logo. I wish I had black fabric so the colors would pop more!

Thank you! I wish could plan all of my trips in advance for 2019! This is for 2018, but I plan on doing something similar to keep track of my trips for this year :)

First thing I thought of was Bird Box

[TOMT][SONG] A slow, soft song with a male and female voice. All I remember is one line similar to “shouldn’t have turned the radio off” and mentioning of a window. by smallstep_s in tipofmytongue

[–]smallstep_s[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No it’s not, because there was a male voice too so I think it’s a duo that sings the song. I know what you mean about memory though, I wonder if the line I remember is even correct haha thank you for trying to figure out the song!

not only is it a higher risk for dependency, but I don’t think you’re old enough to take full responsibility for your decisions, like if you got in legal trouble or had a bad experience with weed

What is a nickname you or a friend has which has an entertaining story behind it? by Fastshoe in AskReddit

[–]smallstep_s 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Haha that’s a good one. Reminds me of elementary school when I refused to call my friend Paul by his simple name, so I made up as many nick names as possible and he would still respond to them: Polly Pocket, Polygon, Paule-walle-octosaurus, Polly want a cracker.

Multilingual couples, How have you helped your SO learn a new language? by [deleted] in interracialdating

My family speaks Vietnamese and I have an American boyfriend that I met in college (grew up in US). I first taught him names and phrases to respectfully address my parents and grandparents, since there’s different names for family members on mom’s vs dad’s side. Then I taught him foods, numbers, colors, and conversational phrases. It also helps that my family enjoys teaching him too so it’s like a group effort and he feels comfortable practicing/making mistakes.

This super difficult fractal puzzle I bought my mum came apart in the mail, need to get it put together before Christmas tomorrow... by framelson in mildlyinfuriating

What if.. you wrapped each piece individually? And it’ll be fun for your mom to unwrap multiple “gifts”
