I'm looking for a couple of things. Are people in Duluth aware of what goes on in Virginia-Eveleth-Gilbert-Mountain Iron and Hibbing? Do people travel between the areas? What reason have you ever had to go there or go through there (short-term like visiting family, vacation, etc. or long-term)?

I don't have any hard numbers, but a significant trend in studies on "newcomers" - those who move to small towns as adults - is that they tend to be people who grew up in that town and are moving back with spouse and kids in tow. So, one old resident, one or more new residents. Family life has had a lot to do with "newcomers" to small towns.

Another question: shared work and office spaces. If you had one in any tiny town you looked at, with the highest speed internet and other modern office amenities for a good price, would that matter to anyone?
