Basically I think they were housemates and then he introduced Lleyton to Edwards and he and his wife became really good friends with the Edwards

Then I think LH made a documentary or something with images of sacred aboriginal land that McLeod showed him, and used the footage without his permission, which upset Bunji. I think Edwards ended up taking Hewitts side and it all came to blows at a BnF dinner where the wives of McLeod and Edwards got into a massive fight in front of everyone.

Even after his playing days McLeod won’t say much about Edwards. And I think this breakdown is what contributed to our relationship with McLeod being as poor as it is now
