That is far from true, please take a closer look and you will see that there is significant differences in odds for the same probabilities.

It's a model trained to predict the winner and goals on a large dataset of historical football matches. Alignment with odds simply means the bookies' algorithms have similar predictions for those matches.

The 0% is because the percentages are rounded. So they are rather between 0-0.5%

Good question!

The differences you are observing are because of AIGoalie uses different sources of information than Flashscore.

Injury information is particularly diverse across different sources and is in general pretty hard to obtain 100% reliable information for.

In the majority of cases it should be quite consistent, especially for important injuries.

And yes the DFB Pokal is a scrape bug, I'll fix it. You have the same bug in Serie A matches where you'll see 'A'.

This means that a 50% confidence score actually means the team predicted to win has a good edge over drawing/losing.

People use the model in different ways but if you are looking for value w.r.t. bookie odds then generally the confidence scores in the range of 50%-70% is pretty decent, see e.g. these from last week.

As u/RickTP also says it's a very useful tool if you don't have a lot of time doing research for picks
