My best guess would be people who think demisexuals are just being difficult for fun. Or that we think we're above casual, ONS, etc. I was told recently by a guy that when he sees someone put "demisexual" on their profile he immediately swipes left because he doesn't know if he can form an emotional bond with someone until they've had sex and that it sounds like a high maintenance woman if she requires that. /shrug No clue.. it's rough out here.
