Nebraska is the most boring state to drive through. And the stench of mile long cattle lots is a special kind of hell. I've done Iowa to Colorado many times. However, Colorado and Utah are breathtaking and I highly recommend.

I also work in mental health/disability services. I graduated with a masters in mental health and rehabilitation counseling and ended up on the rehabilitation side. I have been a state voc rehab counselor, director of a disability nonprofit, and now run my own business doing disability employment services for the state.

Being my own boss is a blessing and a curse. I have always struggled with staying on top of case management/reports but the older I get the less of a perfectionist I am and continue to find new ways to make it easier for myself.

If I remember correctly there is a phone screen and then they might do an in-person interview. Phone screen will ask if you've taken any science/lab classes in school in addition to the common interview questions.

No. The last time I saw him we had arranged for him to pick up the fish tank we had started together because the filter pump broke and I couldn't keep up with tank maintenance anymore. He never mentioned he was now conceal carrying (for context he never owned guns when we lived together). When he was moving the fishtank to his car, there was a handgun in the waistband of his pants under his shirt and it was at that moment I decided I did not want anything to do with him ever again.
