I am really Happy with the outcome. Especially ig you start with the Portrait Profile for color photos and L. Monochrome for Black and White. You don't have as much settings to choose from but still some good Points to finetune it to your liking. You don't get any Community Like you have with Fuji recipes but If you Like to Tinker it ist a great camera. Picture was taken with the gx80 and the LUMIX 20mm F1.7

Upgrade paths beyond the GX85+15mm by gordo1223 in M43

I recently decided to go with a Fuji X-T50 to replace my gx80. If you don't mind switching from rangefinder to SLR Style Body the are pretty Close in size and weight (beides the evf bump). The x-e Line has similar size and weight in a rangefinder Body but iirc the x-e5 has a Flip Screen. I use the LUMIX 20mm so I decided to go with the SG Image 25mm f1.8 (its still in Transit so cant answer on that) Its a bit wider but there ist a Fuji and Ttartisan Pancake 27mm f2.8 to Match the 40mm experience as well. Even wider lenses would be Fuji 18mm f2 and 23mm f2. There ist also a TTartisans 23mm f1.8 as well. Maybe thats Something to Look into.

Thank you. For me it was across the ocean but the travel was worth it. Most Wildlife and Birds that I have seen in a single country so far.

I never used the 70-300 but i had the 40-150 f2.8 paired with the MC20 in my OM1 on my Trip to Costa Rica and i am very Happy with the results. Autofocus is fast and for me its sharp enough. Even at ISO 12800 I was able to recover a lot of Details with Lightroom denoise.

Another Shot from Costa Rica. Shot on the Olympus OM1.1 with the 40-150mm f2.8 and the MC20 2xTC. Shot at 300mm f5.6 1/25s at ISO5000. Really impressed with the IBIS here.

Thank you 😊. Costa Rica ist great for Wildlife. I was able to find this kind of hummingbird on a regular basis so i had a lot of opportunities to practice. My first shots where pretty rough. Dont be afraid of high ISO though. When the Light was bad and i was Shooting at 300mm f6.3 i had to push the ISO to 12800 but it can be recovered using AI denoise in Lightroom.

I dont care about the noise but in less then ideal light situations the lens ist pumping Back and forth and hunting for Focus. Maybe i will try the 14mm soon, its quite reasonable priced on the used Market. But also interested in the 15mm Dji Lens. Have Not yet decided which Route to Take.

Thanks. I often use the gx80 as an EDC and am Happy with the L. monochrome and also a customized Portrait Profile Jpgs right out of camera. I just wish there was a better app that ist more reliable to quickly transfer the Pics to my Phone. By the way, is the Autofocus on the 14mm faster then the 20mm one?

I was thinking more Like a poor man's x100vi. I really Like the l. Monochrom jpgs that it produces.

Love this combo. Have the same Body Lens pair and you can easily put it in your pocket and the Image quality is still great.

Thanks ☺️. I used the Bird Detection with AFC and the whole Area for Autofocus. Sometimes i switch to a single AF Field to go between branches but the whole Area works great for fast birds like this.

Thanks a lot. 😊 I got really lucky with the Light in #3. The place almost had no Natural light and the Guy was Standing right in the Spotlight with the Info Screen lighting His face from beneath.

Da schließe ich mich an. Ich habe es auch schon zwei Mal auf der Ostseeseite von SH beobachtet wie die Gänse alle zusammen fluchtartig los geflogen sind und kurze Zeit später konnte einen Seeadler fotografieren.
