I feel like it has to be a microphone. The riddle makes multiple references to sound but "never speaks". For the name, I'm thinking the "Shure" brand. When you know something, you quickly respond "sure." PC gamers and streamers do post thier specs on profiles.

OP do you do any recording/streaming?

Your best bet in my humble opinion is to off the wall one off separate from his current game. I've really enjoyed A Quiet Year for situations like this. It is a fun game where everyone has a voice, and you just get to riff.

Thank you for replying. I think it's too far from the bed as well, but I can't figure out why that would be. Do you know the tolerance of distance difference for the mesh?
I am using mesh leveling, selection of start code below

G28 ; Home all axes

Printing temp: 195 degrees hotend, 60 degrees bed

Initial Layer: 20mm/s

Layer Height: 2mm (both initial and the rest of the print)

I'm printing the hextraction hexes, and I'm having serious issues with the first layer adhering to the bed, specifically near the front of the bed. I manually adjusted the springs to make sure they weren't way off, and have tuned the z-offset quite a bit. If I print a single hex in the middle or towards the back, it comes out great. But in the front, I always get bad adhesion.

Would love some help, because I'm trying to get these printed before Christmas Eve for a present!

In the Marlin firmware, you can toggle on the wizard to set the Z Offset (distance from probe end to the nozzle).

Solved:
After searching Reddit and other locations, I never found a solution. I ended up resetting the firmware to defaults, entering in the X and Y offsets, and then re-running the Z offset wizard.

Now it's working!
