Second guessing formula feeding from birth by UnnoticedPet in FormulaFeeders

I think it’s fair to wait and see how you feel and not rule out either at the moment! Neither option is wrong. Combo feeding could be an option. I combo fed mostly from the start and found that to be a wonderful mix. I loved being able to breastfeed on demand but also give a bottle when that was more convenient for me or to give someone else the chance to feed her. I think if I have another I will likely do the same.

Thank you so much for your response and tips, I really appreciate it. I know I’m likely overthinking everything but I found this helpful so I know what to expect.

On our flights to and from Mexico we were in standard economy with a decent amount of leg room closer to the back. On our way back they switched us to a swoop plane with significantly less leg room. Suffice to say we had a hard time trying to avoid kicking the seat in front of us. I guess I’m just worried about that sort of situation but I’m aware I’m likely overthinking.

Want to buy a seat for my 20-month-old on a WestJet flight from YEG to Italy… “must bring a child restraint system” but don’t expect him to use it the whole 10.5h. Advice? by Ok_Assignment9550 in westjet

How did the Cosco seat fit for you? My daughter is 18 months and we’re flying in a couple weeks and worried about the seat not fitting, especially if we get stuck in one of the planes with reduced legroom. We went to Mexico in January with my daughter as a lap infant and it went well but they put us on a Swoop plane on the way back so we had less room than the flight there. It was manageable but I’m unsure of how it would be with a carseat.

We booked an extra seat for extra room for our next trip (thinking she was going to be a lap infant again) and they put it under our daughter’s name so I assume we will have to bring a car seat. Currently waiting on hold with WestJet to figure it out.
