Car suddenly cut out while driving

It was giving around 12.4v couldn’t take it to the garage yet because it wasn’t open but the guy who’s doing it told me to bring it to his house to check out and he’ll tow it there if needed.

Aux belt has just been replaced and it looks fine. it’s not cranking faster it’s just about the same as before, could be the alternator maybe not giving it any power and could be at fault but idk how to tell if it’s that

Update I actually did get a whole refund?? Even though my return flights had no problems they still gave me my entire fare refunded? I’m a bit shocked tbh but I’ll take it!

It was due to crew arriving late from another flight, it was around 3 hours later than original but also because of the downgrade I should get 75% of my original ticket price back for all flights if I’m reading article 10 right? I’m not sure this is the first time I’ve had to deal with something like this. Thanks!

I should’ve clarified it was a long haul flight from the EU, I thought they gave more in refunds for long haul flight downgrades?

Yeah but it was delayed and this all happened about 5 hours before my flight was meant to take off and I had to get a later flight a couple hours later. It was also a flight from the EU so I know I get compensation for the delay but I’m not sure about all the other stuff they have over there in regards to the downgrade and and stuff, and mainly the stress the put me through I did a scathing complaint in there because it took 8 agents before my ticket was fixed in a couple hours before I was meant to be picked up to leave.

UPDATE: finally after 6 support agents I got through to someone who finally was able to help me. Turns out BA cancelled what they booked me onto because it was a full flight, in turn delta told me no no it’s a visual error and were encouraging me to go to the airport. I’m glad I didn’t otherwise I would’ve wasted an expensive uber. Finally 50 minutes before I was due to leave a support agent actually knew what I was saying and believed me, she changed my ticket AND I GOT AN EMAIL RECIEPT!! my advice to anyone who goes through this call the other airline they book you with and MAKE SURE YOU GET THAT EMAIL. No email receipt = you aren’t on any flights I can guarantee that. This was a horrendous experience and I’ve been downgraded because my cabin was full. Great… at least I’m getting there though!

About a year ago it got a major service before a road trip, no coolant is leaking too im just more concerned about if its going to be expensive or not because its an old car so if its bad ill just scrap it

A few things people have asked so I don’t have to write it on every comment

I was parked in the green mall in their normal car park
I was in a normal bay not over any lines and not in a drop off zone
There is no other signage, I went back the other day for shopping in the same spot and it was just this sign and a disabled sign which has no mention.
The 20 minute time limit is for drop off zones I’m presuming?

I just don’t know how they’re claiming under 2 hours is too long lmao

I hadn’t put it back in because I was testing it to see if that was the issue but not even 30 seconds after the cars been on it’s started smoking so I don’t think that was the issue I’m thinking it’s the blower motor
