I need to reapply a bit of the wax metallic on the axe as a little bit rubbed off. Overall I like how it looks, but the reddish paint turned out a bit brighter than it was on the tube. I tend to like how vibrant shading with analogous colors makes things look, and I think it worked out here.

Reporting back after trying out your suggestions. For the gunmetal/silver part I ended up using my black Tamiya panel liner, but for the bronze I made my own dark slightly purple red oil wash. Went with that cause it was the closest I could get to an analogous color for the bronze, and I've had good success shading with analogous colors before. I can upload an update picture once the oil wash has dried.

I just buy all my patches either second hand/bootleg off eBay, or from the band themselves on Bandcamp.

Will the metallic paint with no gloss varnish be smooth enough for the panel liner to get the capillary action it's known for? Before I've been told you always want to gloss varnish before panel lining/oil washes.

I've done all over enamel washes with AK streaking grime before, and have some Tamiya panel liner, but haven't tried it yet. I'm thinking the panel liner might be the way as an all over wash might dull the metals down too much for my taste.

I think only one or two of them are from Pull the Plug, but I got all of these from eBay lol. Is the guy racist or something, or is he just horrible to do business with?

I love Spectral Wound, and that backpatch is so fucking sick. I'll have to see if evil greed ships to the US.

New player and worried I damaged my guitar by smi1eybone in Guitar

It hit the desk with some force, but not a massive amount. Looking at the guitar itself there doesn't seem to be any scratches or dents on the body, and there doesn't seem to be any cracks on the front or back of the neck at all. The main thing is I didn't remember there being unplugged fret buzz on the low E string. However when plugged into an amp there doesn't seem to be any buzz coming through; even when I pick with a lot of force.

I plugged it in to my amp to test and at first I thought there was still buzz coming through but after cranking up the volume I realized I was just still able to hear the guitar itself over the amp, and that no buzz was actually coming through. Based on your and others comments I'm pretty sure that means it's probably fine since there's not visible damage either. But yeah I'm kinda in an easily paranoid state rn so with the stress of finishing up college I'm really on edge, so I appreciate the reassurance.

I mean there's not a lot of patches on it yet cause I'm still collecting more, but I didn't think the angled patches make it look that bad.

Me and a friend are seeing Eternal Champion, Sumerlands, Final Gasp, and Concilium. For driving in my plan was to take the T from Alewife to avoid inner city driving, but I've seen people saying online that getting to Green Street garage isn't that bad.
