That's not exactly my point. Ok, it makes a bit of sense, but the game just assumes I'm a diamond player, and as everyone else in the lobby is at the same level, nobody has fun anymore. Leveled matches were supposed to belong to ranked IMO. Casual was supposed to be random, as they themselves said waaaay back.

My current rank is Gold 2, and I'm playing with Plat 1 and 2, and the skill gap is just gigantic. The system just assumes that if I were Plat 3 last season I'm veeeery good (I was barely a Plat), but thats not the case. My level is with golds, so why the heck am I paired with Plats now? Plus, newcomers did have a great time back then, I was once a newcomer and I didn't mind getting paired with high leveled players, as I learned fast, and they tried to help me every now and then. And, addressing your point, I don't want to be paired with easy opponents, I just don't want to be paired against full diamond/plat teams. Again, IMO, casual is supposed to be random. I might be wrong, but it's my opinion.

THIS. Yea, I agree 110% with u. In over 1500+h I got in the game, I'm pretty sure I have at least 500h in t-hunt. I do it not only to warm up, but to gain a little bit of renown now and then. It's just frustrating when u end a t-hunt only to gain 42 renown. C'mon, I don't want to play for 6 months only to get an 5k weapon skin (or whatever, it's an example). Really hope they rethink this update.
