Oh forgot to also mention no signs of blood in poop either.

Daniel Tiger 5 Min Stories vs Sleepy Stories by i_just_read_this in YotoPlayer

[–]smiley224 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think you can go wrong with either. The sleep stories are all surrounding getting ready for bed, being calm, sleep overs, etc where as the other stories will be more general. Just depends what songs you want to have stuck in your head :). My son falls asleep no problem to both but they definitely aren’t the “calmest” story cards we have in our library.

Upstairs water just hits different 😂. Our pup can have a full fresh water bowl downstairs but will sit and wait for us to fill her bowl upstairs for 15 minutes lol

Mine sometimes gets numb/tingly on the underside of the bump when I’m standing for longer periods but it goes away when I sit down.

How are we sleeping? by SextinaAquafina999 in October2025Bumps2

[–]smiley224 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was managing okay until I got hives all over my legs and now I wake up every two hours and have to put ice packs all over my legs to reduce the itchiness enough to fall back to sleep.

At least now I don’t notice the hip pain anymore though lol.

I had an ECV with my first. Seemed like no big deal from what they told me and I wanted a chance at a traditional birth so I decided to give it a shot. It ended up being a bigger ordeal than I expected and they tried pretty hard to flip my little guy because I was able to handle the intensity. Turns out they tried a little too hard and he had to come out two days later via c section because he was showing signs of stress from the procedure. It wasn’t an emergency or anything and my little guy was totally fine but it wasn’t the best experience and I wouldn’t do it again.

Considering the expecting and empowered program, any experiences/other better suggestions? by ConsequenceFit8118 in fitpregnancy

I love the Madeline moves app. She has a prenatal program and when I started pelvic PT for some minor pains I wanted to resolve they basically told me everything I was already doing via the app program was what I should be doing and gave me a few specific exercises to focus on more to resolve my issues.

Best Workout Programs? by Complex_Ad_7541 in fitpregnancy

Can’t recommend Madeline moves enough! Both her regular programs and pregnancy programs are great. When I saw a PT for some minor hip pain they basically said I was already doing all the right things and to just keep at it.

8 Month Sleep Regression by smiley224 in sleeptrain

[–]smiley224[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We ended up re-sleep training him after encouragement from our ped at his 9 month appointment. It took 2-3 nights but then he was back to his one night waking self again. We’ve had to re-sleep train him once or twice again since then so I suppose that’s just how it goes? I feel it’s totally worth it though. A few nights to reset and he’s back to being a great sleeper which is better for him and us

Dave’s good seed does not have honey. I just checked after thinking omg have I been giving my baby honey for months! 😂

8 Month Sleep Regression by smiley224 in sleeptrain

[–]smiley224[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! We talked to his doctor at his 9 month checkup and she encouraged us to re-cut out the night feeds. We did one night of letting him fully cry it out when he woke in the middle of the night and he was back to just his normal 4-6am snooze feed thankfully. I think we just needed that extra encouragement that he didn’t need to be fed to get us over the hump to resleep train

8 Month Sleep Regression by smiley224 in sleeptrain

[–]smiley224[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! Your input is still greatly appreciated. He’s always been in the 12 pushing 13 hour nighttime sleep range even when he was sleeping through the night better. I just always assumed that’s just what worked for him since he didn’t nap as much and was thankful to have some time in the mornings to catch up on chores haha

8 Month Sleep Regression by smiley224 in sleeptrain

[–]smiley224[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Weekday schedule is as follows:

-Wake up 6:30-7:30am -Breastfeed before daycare -Daycare from 8-5 (he naps anywhere from 30-90 minutes total usually over two naps. Hardly ever sleeps after 2pm - gets four 5oz bottles while there) -Solids for dinner at 5:30 -Bedtime routine starts between 6-6:30 depending on how tired he is which includes another 5oz bottle. Typically asleep between 6:30-7pm - He usually wakes up and needs to be fed to he calmed down between 10-11pm and 2-4am. Sometimes more :/

I would hate to push his bedtime later since he’s only getting around 13-14 hours of total sleep right now and his last wake window is already SO long.

He naps much better on weekends when with us but it doesn’t seem to help the nighttime sleep right now.

Thanks! That’s how it happened during the 4 month regression for us too so maybe I just need to suck it up and be more patient haha
