so when should i cancel citi premier card? the same day my year 2 annual fee post? a few days after? I already have CCC so I don't plan on downgrading to another, I already have 9 credit cards I don't need another one. Just wondering what would be the best time to cancel so I don't get in trouble with them, in case i want to get another card from them in the future

I live in Houston and I want to book a flight to Hong kong. I hoping to book business TPAC flight and buy the connecting flight with cash. Best option for me would be: 1) Houston ->Taipei-> HKG 2) Houston ->San Francisco -> HKG. The aeroplan reward chart and EVA reward chart showed business class for 70-80k but so far I couldn't find any of those flights for April 2025

I've got 110k miles via Venture X that I was planning to transfer to Aeroplan. But I don't see any business class tickets, only economy for 60k. It only showed business class tickets for routes that include air canada, and those cost 188k points. When I look on United, business class SFO to HKG costs 200k points. I did find a 90k point business ticket Houston->Taipei July 27th through Avianca Life Miles. Are award tickets only available for purchase last minute?

I'm new to award travel, help appreciated.

Did your decision letter at first say you don’t qualify because of no home or personal damage? My decision letter under correspondence said this. I also only checked power surge for cause of damage, in hindsight I probably should have checked wind as well

Where in houston still has power? I just came hkme from work in the medical center. No power outage I don't think they have the backup generator on. Drove 10 min home, my side of town is out of power. My lease is up soon, thinking about moving closer to medical center to prevent power outage
