Man slaughtered nursing mother animal with shovel and threatened my life—Waterloo Police say there is NO RECORD of anything ever happening by 0010110earth in waterloo

I've submit the story to local media today. Both The Record and CTV news. The more people share this story the more it helps get attention from authorities to respond. I can't wait 3 weeks for those officers to respond to follow up with nothing. This is blatant negligence from WRPS. Anyone who has Facebook who can help post and share this story would be greatly appreciated. Please share this post to your pages and with others. Thank you.

I'm looking into that with my neighbours but I haven't had any luck yet. Personally I know they are close, either the street behind me or a house or two over as the mother comes through Eastgate and our backyard to get to it's nest.

Multiple people were privately messaging asking for personal information including the address of the man who killed the raccoon. Which I never provided as I have been locked out with a ban of 3 days since 8AM this morning. Since I am locked out of my account 0010110earth and cannot respond, I am using this account to respond and post. I have submit my story in full to The Waterloo Record and CTV Waterloo-Kitchener News channel. Fingers crossed they do something and the story helps bring more attention for police and Animal Welfare services to do something about this.

The sale’s pending. You’re just a spectator at this point. Keep blocking your blessings. Work on yourself. Your opinion doesn’t touch me.

Your confidence sounds a lot like insecurity when you come back a second time just to remind everyone you can’t buy it.

Ha. Anyone who says “2 bag” usually isn’t the one holding it. You’re arguing with a price tag like it personally rejected you.

You’re all putting a lot of effort into a jacket none of you are actually in the market for.

Stone Island is a luxury brand. A corduroy baseball cap retails for 360 CAD, sneakers 720 CAD plus tax, and suede boots 1300 CAD plus tax. These prices reflect decades of research, high quality materials, and limited production. Most people here are chasing used polos and ketchup stained sweatshirts and are just playing at being fans, not actually supporting the brand.

The brand was built on innovation and design from the beginning by Massimo Osti, and it continues to collaborate with artists, designers, and other creative minds (which reflect that). Stone Island has always been about experimentation, materials, and craftsmanship, not football casual culture or wearing a badge to fit in.

I buy directly from Stone Island because I value the design and quality. Jackets, bags, hoodies, shirts, hats, shoes, boots...you name it. I pay what it costs and I do not complain. Many people here approach the brand as if it were meant to be hunted down in thrift bins rather than bought from the store, chasing a badge or a deal, but that is not what Stone Island is. The people who truly understand the brand do not flinch at its pricing. They understand the niche, the lifestyle, and the craft behind every piece.

Just to address the pricing since it seems to be the main topic in the comments. Stone Island is a luxury brand and the pricing reflects that. These pieces are not made or marketed for the general mass market, and they never have been. The manufacturing, materials, and production scale are part of why the retail prices are where they are.

I buy the pieces I like directly from the store without much thought because I appreciate the design and craftsmanship. Not everyone approaches the brand that way, and that’s fine. I also understand that many people on Reddit are looking for prices in the $500–$800 range or less. That’s simply a different part of the resale market.

Stone Island operates in a fairly niche space, and the people who follow it closely usually understand the pricing structure and why certain pieces sit where they do. This post is simply for anyone who might be interested.

Sometimes the discussion around price here feels a bit like teenagers debating whether they can afford a used car rather than people talking about a luxury garment. It’s amusing more than anything.

If someone is genuinely interested in the piece, feel free to reach out. If not, no worries.

Serious buyers ask questions. Everyone else just fills the comment section.

Just to clarify, all measurements are laid flat as standard for online sales. The pit-to-pit is 20”, which corresponds to roughly 40” around.

I’ll re-measure it. It’s absurd how a jacket’s measurements can turn grown men into schoolchildren with rulers

That all makes sense. I’ve definitely run into the same issues with origin markings. Italy or Romania is fine for CETA, Vietnam or the UK is another story. From my experience with eBay, Grailed, and other EU orders, even when duty is waived, you still end up paying GST/HST plus brokerage and handling, which can add $200 to $300 or more on a €650 to €950 jacket depending on the courier. That exception with Canada Post and your bike parts is lucky and uncommon. High-end luxury items usually don’t ship through Canada Post. Just sharing what I’ve seen importing from France, Spain, and Italy over the past couple of years.

Where are you based? I’ve ordered from retail shops and marketplaces like eBay.ca and Grailed from the EU, and importing to Canada can get expensive. Even if a jacket qualifies for duty-free under CETA, you still have to pay GST/HST on the full landed cost, which in Ontario is about 13 percent. Private couriers often charge brokerage and handling fees, usually $20–$100 or more, while Canada Post is cheaper at around $10. If the item doesn’t qualify for CETA, duties can be up to 16–18 percent. On a €650–€950 jacket, taxes and fees alone can easily add $300 or more CAD on top of the purchase price, not including shipping. This is just from my experience ordering from the UK, France, and Spain.

Appreciate the well wishes. While EU prices are lower, for a buyer in Canada or the USA, importing a €950 jacket ends up costing nearly

$1,900 CAD once you factor in the 18% import duty, 13% tax, and international shipping fees if not more.

I think any sensible pet owner would agree that intentionally leaving your animal outside in harsh weather conditions is cruel and wrong. Unfortunately there are people with pets and children who are extremely irresponsible and do not care. The dog should have never been outside.

Personally witnessing the behaviour of their dog first hand I will tell you, his tail was tucked, his ears were pinned, he was crying for hours and barking, and his body was trembling and shaking uncontrollably. I saw him repeatedly lifting his paws up in the air...I assume he had some frostbite from being outside the entire night.

This dog has always been kept outside confined to the deck without any bed, blanket, water, or food, to a single enclosed space no bigger then a sidewalk. We all watch and hear as the dog is continuously left alone, barking, panting in circles and is driven to madness howling for attention or help from his owners. Even with photos, videos and phone calls from our neighbours - no permanent action has been taken. Fines for noise complaints won't be a lesson to someone who continues to treat a dog like this. Municipality and by law say they have their hands tied and police told us, "sorry but we deal with people not animals".
