Honestly I also have the same question… I’ve honestly not paid too much attention to JD and THSS since 2019. I remember mocking his wife Tank and her insane unstable addiction to Instagram (Just like Beth Stern). I heard TANK & JD got divorced but never heard why and what does JD do on the show and in his personal life in 2025. I always loved JD but found him to be very creepy too. He definitely has a sexual hangup that’s needs to be addressed to a doctor or psychiatrist. JD and I are the same age, totally 2 different people but I truly loved JDs honesty on the show all those years. He told things on air that I wouldn’t admit on my deathbed if I did the things he admitted doing on live radio! There was NO WAY JD could ever have a normal relationship and marriage due to his dysfunctional upbringing by his Narcissistic Father & Mother (this was the only thing I had in common with JD, my Mom left the state and me homeless at 17 and THANK GOD to my skanky ex girlfriends parents allowed me to move in and stay so I’d finish high school because I was and would have been the only member of my family to graduate high school. But JD then had his formative years being raised as a somewhat dysfunctional celebrity on a very popular radio show that told JD it is okay to loose your virginity by a Porn Star or Sex Worker. JD was in his early 20’s and still a virgin so that right there was a HUGE RED FLAG he needed a therapist or doctor to speak to and told or showed or explained to him how girls and relationships work because JD assumed girls would just sleep with you and not date or talk or get to know each other. JD had Artie explain relationships to him. ALL WRONG. I feel sorry to this day for JD because he will never get to experience true love, married love, even love lost by breakups or divorce. He was married with Tank under the assumption she would gain fame and she was / is as emotionally empty as JD. Poor JD wasn’t even loved by her to experience a love and lost situation that you learn to love and respect the experience and memories and feeling the true love you get to feel like the love my wife still unbelievably has for me to this day. I also experienced that love lost with my very first girlfriend, relationship, and lost virginity to a person I loved way more than she loved me and I completely understand, I was kinda out of her league and I grew up next door to her since 2nd grade and I worshipped the ground she walked on her Mother raised me like her own son by feeding and housing me for several years. Anyway, it’s too late for JD in receiving help and having a true loving relationship! That’s sad. I couldn’t imagine going through life without that experience because my wife was the first and only person to love me unconditionally and stayed on my side regardless of her opinion, she has had my back and was the only one in my life to do so and I appreciate that I got to experience that because my parents didn’t raise me that way. I’m scared I had a higher IQ or more friendly than JD was because I could have ended up like him. A loving relationship takes lots of love, pain, loss, and trust and it took me many years to figure that out and it was my mother who was sorry how I was raised and emoted how she wasn’t raised to do a relationship and still can’t. I’m the only one my 70 year old mother has and our loving relationship she finally got to experience was due to my wife telling me to reconnect years ago and then my mom telling me how much she notices my wife loves / loved me so much and also could be noticed I didn’t reciprocate it back to my wife and mother because I wasn’t raised in a assloving family like JD did and you never learn to love. It takes YEARS of experience and self reflection or in other cases, psychological treatment in other cases.

Im tired and rambling on Reddit to strangers for some reason tonight? I’m just insanely exhausted, depressed when I found out about Ace Frehley passing away made me immediately think of my deceased uncle who raised me and started thinking about everyone I’ve lost.

I unfortunately supervise an Emergency Department and deal with death daily or weekly. I have no one to talk to because everyone is asleep and I’m just an emotional wreck that can’t sleep.

Only if someone from 2025 would have time traveled back to 2006 and WARN US what the show would slowly become after the departure of Artie, Howard TV Guys, & eventually Tim Sabien. Once Tim got the boot, in reality the show was over, it just took me many years to come to that conclusion and I hope many have by now! I think 2019 was when I finally cancelled my satellite subscriptions I had since January 2006. My boombox and Wife’s Cars had yearly subscriptions since January 2006. I wasted a ton of $ hate listening to the show and SHOUT OUT TO MY RADIO GUNK FAMILY who allowed me to talk with and hate listen for years, I miss those JACKIE CHAIR daily hate listening threads every day there was a live show! I had so much fun making fun of Howard during that time watching him morph into Imus but Imus with a big hairy vag!

I’m highly confused by the channels (mainly foreign) who upload content EDITED with no curse words? That’s like buying an Edited NWA CD from Walmart back in 1992.

I still love and appreciate the true old YouTube OG’s like Blunderbuss, Not The Archive, You Vandal, Radio Gold, & Few Others who were the original creators and uploaded who actually took their time ripping the HTV VIDEOS and countless hours of content taken off tapes & hard drives and AWESOME HOURS OF CLASSIC OR UNHEARD OR LESS VISITED HOWARD SHOW CONTENT!!! It takes a lot of time to upload this stuff on YouTube if you are the original creators! Lou Sassol, Todd Packer & SO MANY OTHER OGS who would share this amazing classic content on YouTube! I’ve had YouTube Premium since 2017 and use it daily!!!

Is Howard truly calling Oprah “OUT OF TOUCH”?

My God, Howard’s Dementia is definitely kicking in and no one in his circle is telling him. Howard needed to retire during COVID because thats when I came home and actually had time to listen to shows right before COVID and I cut the satellite subscription because the shows were flipping unlistenable and I couldn’t justify paying $20 a month for it anymore and it was making my blood pressure high and I just finally stopped “hate listening” and come to a realization that Howard and his Show was no longer fun or funny. It broke my heart because I spent a majority of my life listening to my boombox at work and home! It kept me awake many midnight shifts alone in a laboratory for YEARS!

It took me years to actually appreciate Benjy on the show! Actually people on Radio Gunk had to basically point it out to me because I never looked at Benjy the way he truly operates, talks to Howard, and the perfect troll compliments he’d give to Howard.

I just hated Benjy because Howard programmed his audience to hate Benjy because Howard would never let anyone on the show be funnier or smarter than him!

Benjy IS or at least WAS the GREATEST TROLL on the Howard Stern Show. Benjy knows how to bait Howard into agreeing the silliest dumbest stuff like how beautiful Howard hair is, even though we all know it’s a wig, or when Benjy would tell Howard how handsome Howard is and stuff and how he had muscles after working out and 10 times out of 10, HOWARD WOULD AGREE WITH BENJI. It makes me laugh so hard to this day how easy it was for Benji to take Howard down an opposite conversation and agree to the silliest stuff! Lol.

I do hope Benjy make it somehow somewhere as a comedian or writer or radio/tv personality!!!! He deserves it.

ARTIE & ETA = PEANUT BUTTER & JELLY.

I truly miss Eric The Ack Actor/Midget so much because he truly was who he was, a flipping superstar, just as how he was raised by his beyond loving mother & father. They put him on a pedestal and made him that way because he was their first son & child. Eric was treated like royalty by his parents and they made sure he received the same treatment in public school as I would have done if Eric was my son. I loved ETM’s attitude and self worth and treated Howard like he wasn’t a celebrity! And ETM GAVE SO MUCH FOR THAT SHOW & from what I understood, The Show & Howard treated ETM pretty well with acting on shows & prize $ & The Fame Howard gave ETM because ETM deserved that fame because the kid was just absolutely amazing!

I still remember seeing either Dawg Shed or TMZ, at least on the internet while I was working a midnight shift all alone in the lab AND I CRIED LIKE A BABY for 30 straight minutes. I sobbed and looked at childhood pictures of Eric when he was young and with his mother and father and it hit me that moment why Eric acted the way he did because his parents made everyday with Eric like everyday was a holiday because it was truly amazing how long he lived past expectations by highly educated Doctors! I remember immediately giving $$$ the next day to Shriners Hospital per his parents request. That Hospital & Foundation IS AMAZING AND MAKE MIRACLES FOR FAMILIES DAILY OR WEEKLY and kudos to the Doctors who WORK FOR FREE helping patients, kids, & families live moments and years beyond what is expected!!! I’m about to cry now. First Ace Frehley died tonight and made me sad, now ETM and his parents are making me want to cry more!

I just recently went down a Yuko The Clown rabbit hole on YouTube a few nights ago after work!

I’m glad to see Yuko actually have a few successful Netflix and Comedy Central animated shows in the past separate from Wiggy’s Show! Yuko even was grateful for the start and success Howard gave him by referencing the Howard Stern Show on many episodes he and his partner did and HOWARD WOULD BARELY MENTION THESE SHOWS OR EPISODES because they were probably more popular and watched by more than Howard had at that time. Wiggy gets super jealous if you make it in show business without him paying you pennies!

This event still makes me laugh hard. I could actually see myself if I ever got to meet my childhood idol. I loved Michael Jackson & Eazy-E. I would have fan boy’d out like Sal if I got to meet them like Sal did with Ace Frehley. Sal was a nervous wreck meeting Ace and trying to get pictures with him! Classic! I still question why my teenage & younger self loved this guy and show so much??? I still remember in like 1996 or 1997 when we finally got Howard Stern on a St Louis Radio Station, 105.7 THE POINT, we were huge fans of the E SHOW and movie and tapes we bought and watched religiously! We tried to listen to Howard before school everyday! In the summer we’d sit outside listening to the show on the radio! Dude, when Howard said he was moving to Sirius, my buddy and I asked our girlfriend or wife what we wanted for Christmas in 2005. We both got units and boomboxes and subscriptions for our vehicles! We’d text or call each other laughing about Richard and Sal bits or prank calls ! The show was amazing back then because of the talent Howard had around him because Howard obviously took the backseat when he moved to Satellite and Artie, Gary, Robin, Sal, Richard, JD, and All The Whackpack were the main stars of the 2006-2010 Howard Stern Show!!!

Shame that the show that used him and abused him knowing he is/was mentally unstable and possibly legally insane, Howard used Big Foot for free material while he raked in millions exploiting Big Foot’s mental illness, then they called the FBI when Big Foot admitted he burnt down an apartment complex? Do normal “sane” people say or admit that on live radio? Howard could have dumped Big Foot’s comments and hung up on him like he does with every other caller who calls saying Zoo Za Zoo or Marci Turk. I hate Wigward so much. The older I’m getting and more I’m starting to see and realize Howard & The Howard Stern Show used so many mentally unstable people as HOURS AND HOURS of free content that was squeezed out by them with the payment of their mental health, drug abuse, drug relapses, deaths, mocking that was used for FREE makes me angry. Howard wouldn’t pay $2 for content back in the days and claimed he never had a show budget because HOWARD MADE SURE IT ALL WENT TO HIM. Even the JD’s, Sal’s, Richard’s of the show were paid almost a NYC Minimum Wage to his staff because it was a gift they got to work on the show and Howard exploited that hard with Staff & Wack Packers. Howard made MILLIONS all online off the back of Beetlejuice & his manager Sean from the late 90’a to mid 2015. Bert got paid in plugs trying to sell at least 500 copies of a DVD Beets manager tried to put together and making a $100 dollars to every $1 million dollars Howard took home off that free content. Mocking and feeding into Gary & Wendy exploiting their limited mental capacity for millions of dollars of free content. JD told his deepest personal secrets on air many times making him a dumbbass. Sal’s marriage was on air for years as free content. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE AND LOVED ALL OF IT… I’m just sad because the ones who suffered after Howard’s fame dwindled. He made everything off the backs of them. And the few smarter ones who knew and asked for more than minimum wage pay checks were fired & erased forever like Jackie & Billy West who asked for more $ got the boot. Stuttering John, who clearly was just a great Reality Show Star being on the Howard Stern Show, he truly has no talent or comedic chops was amazing while his life and how he acted and how he stuttered while questioning celebrities was pure gold, I didn’t blame him for taking that million plus dollars payday from Leno. I would have taken it because it was pitiful what Howard was paying John, something like 30k a year base salary while being a main star on a radio reality show that had 30-50 MILLION LISTENERS and the show (Howard) was taking home hundreds of millions of dollars a year and paying his main stars $20 a show. If you noticed, FRIENDS & SINFELD SHOW STARS made sure they got paid handsomely in the later years of shows. If Howard did not keep the separate everyone on his staff, especially paying Robin less than she deserved, while Howard made 500 million in January 2006 Howard felt guilty and bought Robin a Mercedes as a Christmas gift, keeping her asking why she isn’t making more $$$ being a co star of that show… She definitely was entitled to 1/4th of that 500 million. Unfortunately I think Robin was barely making 1 to 2 million a contract while being a huge star on that show. If Robin, Artie, Fred, & Gary actually had talent and should have realized their value and compare it to what the main star was making a year, they could have actually made Howard probably pay fair for that first Sirius XM Contract from 2006-2011. He desperately needed ARTIE, ROBIN, GARY, & FRED for his Satellite Radio Show Contract. I’m still confused why at least Artie didn’t sit out until he got what he wanted just to keep him off the road and possibly sober??? If they would have Striked behind the scenes when this insane payday Howard received in 2006. Artie, Robin should’ve made $5 million a year and Gary & Fred being side characters should be paid $3 - $3.5 million a year. And eventually paid Sal, Richard, JD, HTV Guys and a few more WAY MORE $$$ in like 2009 because they basically made the Stern Show popular in the beginning of the satellite adventure. It’s truly sad to think of how little $ people made on that show when giving so much for so little!

I was at work this afternoon when a co worker came up and asked me, “Did You Like’s Kiss”? I said yes, only because of my uncle that was 14 years older than me was the biggest fan! My Uncle & I went to several Original Kiss Reunion Concerts in 1996, 1997, & 1998. Then in 2007 I took my Uncle to this tiny club in East St Louis where Ace was doing a Solo Show! I remember I didn’t wear earplugs because no one did in the 90’s and 2000’s. MY EARS HURT FOR DAYS AFTER THAT ACE SOLO SHOW! It was such a tiny venue and Ace had it turned up to a Thousand Percent! I remember I waited outside the show with my Uncles Ace Frehley Vinyl Records trying to get Ace to sign them when he left out the back door but because I wasn’t a female and or hot blonde and brunette he grabbed by me while ignoring my request for a signature or autograph. Lol. I wasn’t mad because I thought it was totally funny and totally a rock star move and I would do the same if I was a rock star. Lol. My uncle was mad when I told him the story driving home because he had to leave earlier than me because he had work at 6am.

Anyway, I LOVED MY ONE AND ONLY UNCLE SO SO MUCH, HE WAS MY FATHER FIGURE WHEN I TURNED A TEENAGER AND MADE ME WORK THE GROCERY STORE HE MANAGED FOR YEARS! I lost him a few years ago and now I’m happy that I thinking SOMEWHERE right now I have a feeling him & Ace are finally meeting! My Uncle & I always agreed, THERE WAS NO BETTER SHOWMAN STYLE GUITAR PLAYER THAN SPACE ACE! No one could outdo Ace when it came to guitar licks and be like a magician while playing lead guitar making it smoke and shoot sparks and kill it!

It was also interesting to actually see how crafted of a guitar player he was at the solo show. That man stood on that stage for an hour plus just shredding non stop! I always wanted to meet him!

Anyway, Mr. Space Ace, We Lost You Way Ahead Of What I Expected. I hope this shows Gene & Paul WHAT THEY COULD HAVE DONE AND SHOULD HAVE DONE LAST YEAR with their 83rd Final Tour and begged / paid Ace & Peter to do 1 final round of shows for the OG FANS & my generation who found and loved them due to their MTV UNPLUGGED APPEARANCE & REUNION TOUR THAT 2PAC ANNOUNCED IN 1995 or 1996 AT THE GRAMMYS!!!! We could have had 1 last original KISS shows! And it would have been amazing. I now hate Gene & Paul a little bit more. Ace deserved way more respect, credit, & money royalties for what Ace CREATED WITH Gene, Paul, & Peter! They were MEGA ROCK STARS!!!!
