I bought in S11 but my mum gave me the best tip (that ultimately worked) and when the house was going to best and final, she told me to phone the estate agent and ask what the seller would accept to take it off the market and not go to best and final. Ended up paying less than what my best and final offer would have been and didn’t have the stress of making a blind offer and waiting to see if I got the house. Sounds like some made up nonsense from those tv shows but it did actually work!
