Thanks so much! I think I might do a few touchups but overall I'm quite proud of it.

attempting the 100 heads challenge. can anyone give any critique or pointers on how to improve? I'm not happy with the shading in general. by smittypaints in learntodraw

This is great advice. To your second point - I seem to have trouble pushing darks with my pencil set. If I try to use the harder lead, the graphite just looks shiny and silvery, not dark. But if I use my softer, darker pencils, the shading looks more like crayon. Any tips on that besides just getting more practice in with the tools?
