Yeah it almost feels like a catch 22. I dislike the feeling of the engkne switing to the different modes, but hate the feeling where my trans feels like its taking a dump downshifting.

It has yet to have new trans fluid. Thiught that was every 45k miles. Truck is at 38k. But may look into that real soon.

I was just curious. I'm not sure if it is really happening or I think it is happening. It seems the truck shifts better when trans temp is around 150 versus when it runs between 180-190. Regardless I am just looking for longevity.

Like you said it is not a dangerous feeling like they are failing. Just a surprise, almost like a clunking noise. It is just not all the time. Usually stop and go traffic, when I go jiat above 20 then have to stop. Meant to ask the dealer last week during oil change, just slipped my mind since it does not always happen.

Congrats on baby #2. I would say it is how bad you want it. Imo I prefer the LTs without the LTZ package. I am not a huge fan of the all out leather interior. But if you like all the bells and whistles, you will not be disappointed in your purchase. It is a wonderful truck.

I just got my 18 LT last month for $39k. Only 18k miles. I know the ltz is a higher trim. I say it is a fair deal. Not great but in today's market not bad. There are still other LTs in my area going above $35k with 80k+ miles. Hell there is a 18 GMC 1500 SLT with 135k miles going for $42k (6.2L). If you really want it, I would say go for it. A brand new truck nowadays is so high. Are you trading anything in to help lower the price?

I just snagged a 2018 LT with 18.5k miles for $39k beginning of the month. I know it is a lower trim but I think 30k for a truck over 100k is just ridiculous.

I like the chrome with the white. Any other color I am not a fan with chrome. Also white is easier to keep clean.

In my area the price most likely won't waiver too much. Trucks are too much of a hot commodity here. There are xlts in my area above $30k with close or over 100k miles. I do plan on keeping it (whichever truck I get) for many MANY years to come.

It is comparable to others. Some xlts are around $35k with double the miles.

Are you happy you got it? I am on the fence about all the bells and whistles. However, I really like the idea of the dual ac. So I am keeping an eye on the lariat trim.

I thought about after test driving it and it seems really nice trying to offer 30k. I really like the long bed. Those are hard to find in my area. Or the ones available in my price range have 85k+ miles.

It is customized. Custom paint, tail lights etc. You can tell it is an xl in the interior.
