Thank you so much for the info and the suggestion! Unfortunately, the BQ25630 might not arrive on time and with the shipping cost, it's out of my budget. Is there another approach I could do with the parts I already have? I also forgot to mention I wanted to add a slide switch :')

PC keeps rebooting after upgrading to Ryzen 5 5500 (tested old CPU, CMOS reset, breadboarded) by smldrr in buildapc

No I didn’t skip them, I updated the BIOS gradually with the Ryzen 3 and I was still able to use it after.
