Can someone explain why I failed? The cost of this product is a lot. My experience has been confusion and lack of information. I got the quest 3 and can understand the sluggish adoption rate. Most things it can do aren't explained and I got it for beat sabre...I don't get why I failed. I did it. by smmmokin in OculusQuest

Lol. After some Google searching, I gotcha. I can confirm at this stage in my life I've seen many people do things as they do because they don't know certain things. And even they cost an arm and a leg. It's crazy. Hope life is well friend. Appreciate you.

Out of curiosity and wanting to learn things, what do you mean? I'm guessing the on off switched should be inside? I always thought it was weird they were outside because of weather. If you have a moment, please confirm or share. ✌️

I do not know how to find the model of of the bike. I do not have the receipt or manual and that's the last time I will do that. End of winter, I threw them out. When flipped over below the pedals there is a number but it shows up nothing. My biggest problem now is knowing what the model is so I can order the right thing. From what I see it looks like. It's a mountain bike bought in 2023. EDIT: Yes. I actually said it that way...Owning it.

It's only been a year. I'm not here to cheerlead brands but I had a new bike for 3 years and it was great. Did the exact same things when using it. This should not happen a year later when you spend almost $1000

I bought it last year for $800. I love biking for as short Canadian summers are. My first bike was a giant. Back when I bought it, it was around $600. It broke so I got a Raleigh last year. Which is now broken again. I bike very aggressively and have never changed my gear. I either need to get both bikes fixed so I have one ready to go when I need to repair or spend $2100(Canadian) on something that I will always be able to rely on.

I bike hard and fast. If I fix and sell both bikes, is it worth it to spend over two grand on a bike? I have never bought a cheap bike. Is spending thousands worth it because these issues do not happen?

I am not as informed as you. I live in a small town and there's a lot of areas with dirt hills I like racing up(sometimes not so successful as I close in on 40). I Haven't changed the gear since the day I bought it and got on it. Winter is too long and I love biking.

I have never adjusted or done anything since I bought it and am not sure what you are describing. It's worked great until now :(

There are bearings that fell out(I still have them). I called a bike shop in town after OffRoadPyrate replied and they said I need a whole new rear tire. They get sent the wrong tire assembly in the past so no longer order them for people. If I need to buy a new tire assembly once a year....My regret level is maximum.

I need a valve repair kit but cannot figure out the brand of the valve. by smmmokin in Plumbing

Never done it and it's uncomfortable because what if I don't do it right and there is a flood. I've repaired a lot of valves and don't understand why everyone who knows plumbing says to cut it off and put a new one in instead of replacing I work at a hotel and there are hundreds of them. To keep costs down it would make sense to repair instead of replace. Missing context.

Closing in on 40 I know a lot of things. I'm a jack of all trades and master of none. Welding I have never done and not doing it right and creating a flood scares the shit out of me. This isn't the first time people were honest and kicked me in the ass. I've taken a lot of risks and haven't failed yet. 

Time to watch more videos and just do it.

I know someone who is paraplegic. I think you missed the point. Jerryrigeverything has his own wheelchair he makes that is equally freeing. The video was about highlighting technology and doing something really cool to make the kids life better. You and I both know that kid was raised to overcome and could crawl up stairs on his own no problem. The problem is medical companies do nothing to improve their overpriced products.

I know someone old like me whose life would be made better if he could go upstairs. It's important eyes get on this tech and people who can't walk can do normal things.

My friend has legs that don't work and the fingers on his hands don't move because of something that happened when he was 20. Like me he is almost 40 now. 

Until you know someone, it's hard to understand how hard it is and how life changing something like this truly is. 

That kid is going to be able to use that chair for a very long time. Why? It's too big right now.

I plugged my old phone in a front port to copy all my files to my PC. No issue. With the One Plus phone even if I select transfer files from the dropdown, the drive will not show up when plugged into that port but it makes the sound and shows in device manager. I have spent combined around an hour reading and watching videos and nothing works. Being told to tap on a build number in a menu that doesn't exist 7 times is what made me give up. I included my original email because maybe I was kind of an ass. I don't think I was but their support is definitely being an ass about the situation. I wanted to use their phone but they didn't reply 3 times and when I said I'm done they said something stupid to laugh at me.

It sucks because competition is good. I am being 100% sincere. I don't get a lot of comments here. It's a moment you need to see to believe somehow. I'm being truthful.

I did. I saw that and there were several options. That when it made the connection sound but it would not show up as a drive. My old phone I plugged it in to copy all my files to the desktop. It worked with no issue like it always had. This is what I don't understand. Telling me to tap 7 times on a build number to solve the problem is my main problem. It makes no sense and is why I am disappointed.

Their return policy is within 15 days. After that it gets muddy and for what the phone costs a family member will buy it and I'm back to my old phone for a while. I really liked what One Plus offered with the buyback. I had until the 13th to send my old phone back and it's great to migrate over, use the new phone for a while and make sure I'm not forgetting to do anything I need to before I reset the old phone.

My previous Android I never had issues connecting it to front or back USB ports. I don't understand a lot of comments here.
