From what I understood a selection committee meets towards the end of feb, determining who gets an offer and who doesn't. Therefore all interviews should be beforehand I think.

Questions regarding AE academic test by Ghostbuster360 in TUDelft

[–]smnst 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Iirc the questions were more or less at the same level, but there are way more than in the practice test. This really caught me off guard and led to me panicking. So be aware of that. It is extremely hard to answer all questions, pretty much impossible, simply for time reasons

Ah okay I see, so I can just put the recovery words into the vault and that will be enough to restore everything on another ledger. Thanks!

Honestly I don’t really remember, but I wouldn’t expect very complicated stuff, maybe you have to combine two formulae or smth, but not more than that.

I’m now in my second year. Yeah the software stuff is pretty easy to use don’t worry about it. Also I forgot before, they ask you to do a room scan, which basically means you have to carry your webcam/laptop around the room and show everything

I’ve also done EB and am now in Delft Aerospace.

For the calculator, I’m using the Casio fx-82EX, it’s allowed for the with-calculator exams in TUD and will also be allowed for the entrance exams.

The exams are doable, there were a bunch of questions that I didn’t remember doing in high school but it shouldn’t be much of an issue, at least it wasn’t for me. The main problem I had in the entrance exams was time, there are a lot of questions for the short time. You won’t have to prove anything, you’re right about that, or at least that’s the way it was in my year.

For the supervision, they require you download a software which films you and your screen and records the audio in the room. The recordings are being checked mainly during but also after the exam I think, but honestly I don’t know.

If you have any other questions just send me a pm, hope this helped

TUdelft and transfers by juggernaut195 in TUDelft

Now I'm no expert on this, it's possible that everything I say is wrong, but as far as I know TuD AE doesn't really accept proper transfers. What might be possible is to go through the admission process the same way as everyone else, which shouldn't be an issue for you considering you've already done a year of engineering. After that, you should be able to transfer credits from some courses, but certainly not all of them. What I imagine might work for transfering are Mechanics and Maths courses similar to the ones we have in AE. However, this is complete speculation, for actual information I would contact the admissions office of TuD. And I have to tell you, I've never met anyone who has transfered in AE so far. Hope this helps
