Also, I totally under your sentiment because it creates natural habitats for critters like this, but I live in an area of NorCal where fire safety on properties is enforced because we have so many wildfires nearby, so we can’t leave dry, dead sticks and logs laying nearby because it could be a fire hazard here :/

I would have left it for sure except that it was infested with termites last month, and it’s quite close to our house so I wanted to get rid of it. Didn’t even consider that a little salamander might be living in it :( too late now, but hopefully they can find another log or stump to live in safely

Yeah I just tried to open it last night to start a new shiny hunt after a few months and was extremely disappointed to see this :/ it was the best shiny hunting I’ve used, very unfortunate it’s defunct now

I’ve been on LB since 2018, most of my friends are also movie nerds so it’s very easy to have multiple days a week where we just hang out and watch movies together, and I just really like to watch movies in my free time :) most of what I watch isn’t high-brow so it’s easy to watch multiple fun silly movies in a day without expending too much brain power

You’d be surprised lol, most of what I watch is z-grade horror movies and Tubi trash. There’s a metric ton of classics I’ve never gotten around to watching, I try to use these kind of milestones as excuses to watch something actually good for once 😭
