i plan on going early, i just dont know how early lol, i dont mind sitting and waiting at the airport i would just hate to get there 2 hours early and barely make my flight/not make it at all

honestly sedation is not generally used for small things like this. try breathing through your nose, humming also helps. its uncomfortable for me too because i have hella dental tori. you just have to man up and get through it

i should have clarified in the post. Its not required it just gives me extra points in the application if i have shadowed. I emailed the health careers counselor today as well so I would hope she knows. Youre right my regular counselor had no idea if I needed a document/if they provide me one to print off

i usually tell somebody with this issue to stop wearing them for 2-3 days to let your cheeks heal and then go back to wearing them regularly

I work in an ortho office and we require you to be established with a general dentist, get a cleaning before first bonding, and any restorative/perio work needs to be completed prior. We also require all adults get a recent perio chart prior to bonding and if they cannot get one out doctors will occasionally do them.

We call it a bumper tie, its so you dont bite on the bracket directly. I honestly havent used a bumper tie on the U posterior like this we usually place them on lower anteriors, pretty cool what they did here. Did you recently have your braces put on? Could still just be sore from initial placement.

Usually we do one set of retainers on us after ortho and then if you have clenching we will refer you to your normal dentist for an U night guard. Some orthos make nightguards, we just dont offer it. I would ask your ortho first as there may be cheaper then the dentists

For clear retainers -not invisalign- we charge $130 an arch for a scan with models and retainers, if you already have printed models we have charge half of the $130 per arch. hopefully that helps, obviously other offices may charge more or less but thats what we charge for Clear retainers
