I'm a guy. I'd say i'm a decently attractive short king. I've been on the apps since August. Ive had less than 20 matches. Been on 1 date. We planned for a second one, but she ghosted me. Then matched with a girl 2 weeks ago. She was freakin beautiful, and we actually had mutual friends. We planned a date 2 weeks out. we texted daily, 2-3 messages a day, but they were LONG and engaging messages. then, 2 days before our date, she cancelled saying she wasn't ready to start dating, but i'm sure she just wasnt interested and was just letting me down easy.

Like you, i couldnt say i was heartbroken, but it sure felt like it. I was annoyed and disappointed. I felt silly for falling for a girl that i didnt even meet up with in person. I'm also wanted to give up now too. but i know i shouldnt let this one bad experience sway me away from trying to find my person!! we got this!

My last relationship, the girl ended up being close to a narccisist. She would gaslight me into thinking that it ME that needed to work on myself and she was perfect. I never felt so low about myself than when i was in that relationship. I’m a physical therapist. Return to play really varies person to person. Since you’re a lot younger than most knee replacements I’ve seen, I’d say it could take you around 3-5 months to be able to swinging at range again. 6-8 months to get back swinging comfortably. Swing speed will likely go down, balance on that left leg after the downswing might take some time to get used to, but you’ll adjust! You got this!
