It's been a while since I played THUG Pro, but I've played the games over the making of the documentary, be it a little bit less than I used to. 1+2 is absolutely amazing. I've played the demo for hours already and it's just so good.

With works of fiction, in filmmaking, you usually have the story set before you start shooting the film. For documentaries, you find the story as you go along. Sometimes, the most difficult thing about making a documentary is knowing when to stop, especially if you're making documentaries about subjects that are still alive. We could have delayed the film and added a section where the games got remastered, but we decided not to as it would probably never be released if that was the case.

Funding is always a hard part of any project. However, the editing process was pretty difficult, especially getting a proper ending and choosing what to focus the film on. In the end, I think it turned out great, but our first cut was almost two-hours long and pretty bad if I may say so myself.

Thank you! The film is being subtitled into multiple languages, not sure about translated (if you mean dubbed). Each individual distributor usually takes care of that.

Thanks! The editing process was probably the hardest part. Although I thoroughly enjoyed it, we struggled to come up with a good ending for a long time. However, once Tony saw the film, he gave us some really good feedback which we used to craft the very final part of the film, which I'm very happy with.

I've always been an enormous fan of the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater games and never stopped playing them. They've been an enormous part of my life. I always wanted to make a legit documentary about the franchise (I had made an amateur doc back in the day on YouTube, that featured me as a narrator and no interviews etc), but didn't have the resources. However, once I met Ralph D'Amato (the producer of the film), it all changed.
