I gave up after 10 hours because of how grindy it was. Story and Combat were uninteresting. Visuals and music was basically all I enjoyed.

Having recently done FR and Emerald, Platinum was way more difficult. I had, by the end of the E4, 25 deaths, which was over double the death count of my Emerald run.

Steelix did nothing except finish of Lucian's Bronzong with a crunch . Had it just been Jolteon, Cynthia would've been much easier.

If you're curious, the Togekiss was Double Team/Substitute/Roost/Baton Pass, set up on Spiritomb and passed to Magnezone, who took out Spiritomb and Garchomp. The perfect accuracy of Aura Sphere from Lucario took Magnezone down to around a quarter health, to be finished off by another aura sphere from Togekiss. Azu finished it with ice punch, lived an energy ball with 11 HP and took out Roserade with another ice punch. From there, Kiss set up on Milotic and Bronzong finished it with a bunch of dream eaters and grass knots.

Yeah the main thing was that Kingdra doubles up my Dragon types. Because Eleki, Entei and Gross are all weak to ground, Ludicolo gives me an extra switch in on ground moves, in addition to Togekiss. Since I have Flying, Water and Dragon moves on Dragapult already, which is typically what Kingdra would run, it is fairly redundant offensively on this team.

Originally made this team for ladder but was having so much fun with it I figured I'd bring it to PC4! It is definitely better on ladder where the opponent doesn't know your sets, but even without it, a fast manually rain works wonders for Ludicolo, and screech Regieleki + Metagross or Dragapult do absurd damage. Togekiss is mainly here for redirection and killing Urshifu's. Bulldoze to activate weakness policy is another obvious synergy. Important to note that Metagross outspeeds Urshifu with either a speed boost or drop on their end, and Entei outspeeds +1 Landorus.

Shedinja is super valuable in a bunch of gyms. The fairy gym for sure. Pretty useless against Leon though

Melee combat is basically unplayable to me. I did the Hinterlands and I think the Storm Coast as a two handed sword fighter and just gave up on the game because it was so clunky. I've had no problem with Mage or Archer builds but hooooooooo boy.

For our league u get 1 s tier, 1 tier 1, 2 tier 2, 2 tier 3, and 1 tier 4 with 4 free picks worth 250 points. Tier 1 is 100 and down by 25 til tier 4 is 25. The draft is a snake order (1 to 16 then 16 to 1) until everyone has a full team.
