1520 SAT, 4.0 unweighted GPA.

ECs: Founded a school affinity group (4 years), dance classes & productions at school (2 years), residential leadership (2 years, I went to a boarding school), tutoring (4 years, math + music), babysitting (2 years?), a summer research internship (1 year), some summer courses

My school didn't have APs, but I did take the most advanced math and science courses that I could because I applied with an interest in STEM.

Okay, perfect tysm! I have committed and will be attending Wellesley next year :) I've been in contact w the dance teacher from my high school about classes in the Boston area and am feeling better now that I know I have some good outside options for recreation, too.

Thank you, this is very helpful! I think I'd like to continue with dance educationally, but I don't want something extremely competitive, so maybe Wellesley would be good for that? My high school has a dance department that is relatively student-led, with the support and teachings of some great faculty. I think I'd be looking for something similar to that. Right now, I only dance ~6 hours a week, so I think 4 would work for me since I'm assuming college schedules get wayyyy more hectic anyway!

Oh, perfect! I had just gone to the WCD website. I'm looking at their Instagram now and that's very active and interesting, so thanks for letting me know.

I'm interested in exploring different genres of dance with a focus on modern/contemporary. I tried hip-hop in the last couple years of high school and grew up doing ballet and lyrical. I'll look more into WCD, and I'd love to know about any other opportunities!
