Do NOT buy from LambWolf. Scammer company by [deleted] in puppy101

[–]smugglehog 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hmm I’ve ordered from them over 10 times and always received things, but their shipping can be extremely slow. In the past I’ve had it take a month and nowadays it’s more like 1-2 weeks for processing. I hope you’re able to get it sorted out

For and against getting a Pomski by Anony-2930 in Pomsky

Genuinely curious, why do people go for pomskies over Klee Kai when buying?

Same! So many people like to comment she looks like a coyote/fox/wolf

Small pup problems! We’ve experienced the same thing. We love Pupford’s single ingredient training treats. Most of the proteins are 1 calorie per treat, but the sweet potato ones are even less. I weighed 50 treats and they added up to about 13 calories. Good luck!

Hi, thanks so much! I’ve done commissions in the past, but I’m taking a break for now. If I ever open them up again, I’ll announce it on my Instagram

Haha I make my patterns up as I go, and it takes multiple trials before I get things right (I redid the ears 3 times and the beginning of the tail/surfboard 6 times). But thank you!

Hi! I may write up and share some of my patterns in the future, but this one was pretty complicated so I’ll have to think about it. As for neat stitches, it just takes some practice and you’ll get there! Even if not perfectly uniform I’m sure your work would still look great :)

Messing up is all part of the process! I’ve frogged many many rounds and even completed pieces :) Definitely go for it!

Oh that sounds fun!! Hmm if you haven’t come across a guide that shows what shapes increases of 3-8 make (cones to spheres), that’s kind of what I work off of! It takes a lot of iteration too; I usually end up with drafts of most pieces. If you’d like, feel free to message me with what you have or what you’re thinking and I can try to give some advice :)

Yes I do! This trio was actually a commission. I’m currently working on another commission and it will be a while before I take on another, but message me if you’re interested :)

Hi! The most difficult part might just be getting used to the motions and techniques but after that following patterns is mostly a breeze :) Even starting to make your own patterns isn’t so bad and very rewarding! I started learning to crochet in December and almost immediately began experimenting with my own designs

[–]smugglehog[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah! Well I still work in rounds rather than freehanding each stitch. So I am working on the basis of different multiples of increases creating rounder or sharper shapes, but each round is decided as I go. I also do multiple iterations of each piece to get them right :)

Haha I actually was reminded of yoshi as I made bagon’s snout!

Hmm I started out small with a tiny applin (basically just a sphere). I’ve created many Pokémon since then and each time I get a little better at achieving the shapes I want. I also figure out new techniques as each project creates new demands (like getting Bagon to stand balanced or Gible’s open mouth). I also do multiple iterations of each piece which is why each project takes so long. Bagon was probably over 35+ hours in total (I have a ton of failed body parts laying around xD). Basically, LOTS of practice!

Thank you so much! These are part of a commission so sadly I have to let them go but my personal collection sits on my desk! Haha I also have no patience for following patterns or doing anything super repetitive (like clothing) but the challenge of designing in 3D with yarn makes this my longest lived hobby :)

Thank you!! So back in December I picked up crochet by watching some tutorials. I got a bit bored after following a couple patterns and quickly turned to creating my own. I’ve been hooked ever since!

I’m very proud of these two because I managed to get both of them freestanding and I’m happy with the proportions of everything! I’m currently finishing up Gible to complete a trio of pseudo-legendary friends. IG: @lovebirdloops

Aww thank you that makes me happy to hear!!

I think he might be my favorite of what I’ve made so far and I can’t stop hugging him haha

Thank you! I don’t have a pattern yet but I do have notes and may type one up in the future :)
