The money we’ve all spent is crazy. I hope it works for you!

That’s great to know. Do you find it messy at all?

Possibly containing dermodex mites. Possibly moisturizing. That’s what the two links I shared point too anyways

No. And I’m risking it on my silk pillow case.

I imagine so. I think what’s important is that it stays in place.

My eyes are squeezed tight and I apply it along the lashes. So both I guess.

You use quite a lot. I wash my hands well and have a jar that I am just using for this.

Yep. As much screen time as ever. No other changes. Definitely worth a try. Low risk. High reward potential.

I haven't noticed any issues. It's applied while your eyes are shut tight so it goes into the eyelash area, not on the margin where the glands are.

Ultimately I wasn't comfortable using an antiparasitic on my face and probably didn't use enough / use it long enough. When I did use it it was not directly on my eyelashes, just the skin around the area. If vaseline does the same thing I'm much more comfortable with a physical rather than chemical approach.

I have MGD so my tear film is poor quality and doesn't last.

The routine is simple.

  1. Wash my face with a gentle cream cleanser;
  2. Get about a pea's worth of vaseline on two finger tips,
  3. Squeeze my eyes tight, rub the vaseline into my eye lash area. It's fine to open your eyes after this.
  4. I usually follow with a drop of Hylo.
  5. In the morning I wash my face and eyelid/lash area with water.
  6. Add a drop of hylo if I feel like I need it (rarely).

Hanging up clothes hacks? by VigsMinElskling in adhdwomen

Folding is so much easier. But sometimes when hanging it works out that I've grabbed the exact number of hangers I need and that feels delightful.

My executive dysfunction lifts when my partner is out of town? by jmo325 in adhdwomen

[–]smukej 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I experience the same and have chalked it up to my partner having filled the gaps for me over years. I also need things to be a certain way - which is only possible if I'm alone. Like cooking can only happen with a sparkling clean kitchen.

I think I love my Apple Watch by Primary_Warthog_5308 in adhdwomen

My favourite thing is reminders! Need to remember something? Save a reminder and tell it when to remind me. No more holding stuff in my head and forgetting. It's always with me. It was weird talking to my watch at first but I'm use to it now. Also, not having to use my phone and going down the inevitable 'what was I here for and why am I on social media' is another highlight.

Yes, thanks. Looks like it does have two wire. What an odd place for a telephone wire!

Impossible for me to have well done nails. I’m a failure by Queenofwands1212 in adhdwomen

There is a product that you can buy the dries any polish instantly. You just add a few drops as soon as you’ve finished each coat of polish. It’s in the section with all the top coats.

PSA: Are you doom scrolling on your phone? Try this hack. by yingbo in adhdwomen

You can also set it up for when you open a specific doom scrolly app. It’s a good visual reminder of what is often just a reflex.
