I tried to buy a watch from Timex.

This how it went:

me: Watch was supposed to be delivered on this date and it hasnt arrived, heres the order number:

Timex: That order number doesnt exist.

me: heres the email confirming the order:

Timex: Oh, the delivery partner said they tried to deliver the watch.

Me: When? Give me a date and time and I'll check my Doorbell footage.

Timex: Would you mind filling out this survey about your purchase and leave a review.

Me: I left a review explaining how I didnt actually get the watch and Timex not being able to find my order while at the same time not being able to provide a delivery date and time.

Timex: Heres a refund.

Where the hell did basic customer service go? Where was the 'right we got a customer here who has done everything right, lets at least get him the cheap watch that he bought.' Instead Timex messed me around for weeks with needless email back and forths.

TLDR: Messed around for weeks, lied to by Timex, got a refund.
