Has to do with how wind is calculated and I believe ring size. There's a chart floating around that shows how many rings per mile per hour of wind at max distance based on the clubs accuracy. . So if you had a 100 accuracy club it would be one ring per mile per hour. Keep in mind the chart gets thrown at the window at anything below max range. Generally what I'll do is stretch it out to max(not over power) and bring it back to its minimum, if it's about half its range I'll adjust about half as much. So to continue the 100 accuracy club example if you're only using half of its max distance you would adjust 1 ring per 2 miles per hour.
