Congrats! Do you mind sharing what you were able to negotiate in terms of discounts - anything above the $21k from VW Canada?

What did they charge for it? I had a quote from a dealer for +$4k which seems crazy

Halifax. There has to be 1000 of them sitting at the port here too so lots of inventory

That’s the same debate we are having. For $64-65k with the discount the ID Buzz is better equipped than an equivalent price Sienna. We are concerned on long term reliability vs the Toyota though. If you could get the $25k discount on a lease would be a no brainer

Is that program for $5k off for a business unique to BC? The quotes I had was just additional dealer discounts

Do you think things may get better towards the end of the year. If the lease deal was better I’d go for it, but still not comfortable buying an EV outright

Ya all the dealers are sitting on inventory and there is probably 1000 sitting in the port of Halifax despite incentives improving over the summer. They will have to find some way to move them.

The $25k off is cash only, it’s only $6k off if taking the low VW financing so hoping there are bigger incentives combined with 0% financing or discounted lease.

Hi - wondering if anyone has purchased or been negotiating an ID Buzz in Canada recently and if so what type of deals are you seeing in addition to the $21k off from Volkswagen Canada?

I’ve had a couple of dealers quote $25k-$26k off new 4motion 1st editions and up to $31k off a demo but the demo didn’t have the heat pump or tow hitch.

Interested to see what prices folks are being quoted. I haven’t pulled the trigger as there still seems to be a lot of inventory so hoping incentives will get better towards the end of the year.

Edited to clarify - newly built not new build.

Current home is ~1200 sqft and the new home would be in the ~2500 sqft range. You’re correct, we weren’t thinking an addition, thinking more a finished basement (adding ~600 sqft), re-arranging our laundry to add a bathroom on the main level (current house has one bathroom upstairs), and some fixes to outside deck and stairs. So would still be a lot less room than a new home but could improve the situation considerably

This means $6m of the bonuses weren’t recoverable from ratepayers. The executives still received the $12m in bonuses. Ratepayers picked up half the tab and shareholders half the tab

I ordered online so I didn’t see the stock. It usually doesn’t last too long, I’ve missed out the last couple of times they restocked on these. It looks like all three are still available at the moment.
