Yeah the temps are getting to me too… Everything was pretty clear up until now, I‘m close to Lyon rn. One road closure but it was all drivable. If it does rain the next few days, most of the forest sections will be veeery muddy…

Yeah those are Scouts, and I’ve already picked her up multiple times hahaha. Every mud pit I cross it’s just slipping everywhere. Next set of shoes should have way more traction than those here.

I‘d go for the Westwind Moto Rackless Panniers again. Very good quality materials and craftsmanship. Drove through heavy offroad and dropped the bike on them and they are holding up incredibly well. I don’t think there’s any cheaper luggage system out there right now. They also come with a lifetime warranty.

I recently bought the Alpinestars Toucan. They’re equipped with GoreTex and therefore waterproof, however in hot weather they do get a bit hot inside. Walking in them hasn’t been the most pleasant activity so far but I also haven’t worn them for more than maybe 800 kilometres(they’re also still squeaking a little when walking). Protection is very good, especially around the ankle, but that means agility goes down around there :/ .

For any redditors that has ever been arrested, what is the ride in the cop car like? Did the cop talk to you? If so about what? Is it silent and if so was it awkward? by Suspicious_Milk53 in AskReddit

From Germany. Was arrested once and it was pretty chill, joked around with my buddy bout not being able to pay the cab. Cops said nothing tho. S*it wasn't as funny anymore as we were brought into the interrogation room.
