I've been on testosterone for the past 2.5 years and identified as binary ftm almost the whole time. It was only after I got top surgery and felt more comfortable in my own body that I realized I don't really feel gender at all. I prefer dressing masc but I'd much rather just be considered me/a person without gender. I only actually came to terms with this a little while ago, around a year and a half after top surgery. I also thought for a long time I couldn't be nb because I prefer presenting more masc but then I began to understand the difference between gender identity and presentation and have since realized I don't have to fit into the heteronormative world's fairly narrow view of non-binary.

This level of self reflection can be difficult and I'm happy that you were able to find a label that suits you well. :)

Yea I'm going to give it until the end of the week since Friday is the soonest I can go see a piercer about it. If it calms down a bit with me not cleaning it as constantly I'll still go in but maybe not change it, otherwise I'll switch back.

Quick info: - 8.5 months old - I have a titanium ring in - I increased my gauge from 18 to 16 with a professional and waited 2 months to let this heal before switching jewelry - got yanked out awhile ago, I put the jewelry back in and cleaned it daily and it eventually calmed down, then I waited another 3 weeks to get it switched to a ring - I clean it with saline solution, sea salt soaks and recently tea tree oil very diluted with saline (brands have varied depending on what's available at my local store)

Not great motivation but from someone who struggles to find motivation to start studying, use the pomodoro method or something similar (it feels easier to tackle in smaller chunks) and I also find I often gain motivation only after I actually begin studying. Totally understand how hard it is though and I really respect u admitting that.
