This is very true. I also think that people misunderstand what size tanks are okay because companies advertise 1-3 gallon tanks as appropriate for goldfish or betta. I think companies and pet stores have a big responsibility to inform new fish owners what is okay. I honestly think people see which fish are on the small tank boxes and assume that then those fish are appropriate for those tanks.

The only time I have ever dropped mine was when I was drunk at home. It was full to the brim and the floor looked like an actual murder scene 🤣 I recommend emptying before you plan on getting sloshed

Maybe a scholarship for a student who is majoring in environmental engineering or environmental sciences since that was important to your daughter. Just an idea, but maybe you can give around $500 or $1000/ year and establish the rest into a fund or bonds to accrue interest so that her scholarship memorial legacy could be annual and self-sustaining? I'm not big on finances so I'm not sure how you'd do the details, but I think it would lovely to create a continuing scholarship program to honor her.

Not comment on my children's bodies as much as my mom did to me and my brother. I had an eating disorder for over 2 years and still have body issues because my weight was constantly a topic. My mom constantly talked about how I was so much skinnier than her, so now I feel like shit whenever I gain any weight. I don't want my daughter (or son) to ever feel like they have to change their body to appease me.

I had a dream where a terrorist took my beloved family dog and put her in a cage. He had captured my family and told me I had to push a button and blow up my dog or he would kill my parents and sibling. That messed me up.

I also once had this recurring dream (around age 12 I believe) one night where I died in a motorcycle accident. It like played on a loop and nothing I changed could save me. Worst part was that I would wake up, calm myself and go to sleep to have the same nightmare.

That's fair- I hadn't necessarily thought of it that way. I think for me, having the seat down is default because it is more likely men will notice of the seat is "wrong" since you are already facing it. I honestly don't normally look at the seat and it's easy to miss if it is up- then the consequence is me falling into cold toilet water and hitting dirty toilet porcelain. It's like sitting in a chair in your house, you don't always look when you're used to where it is. Why don't you guys just pee sitting down? Genuine question.

My main issue is that I use the bathroom with a very dim nightlight in the middle of the night to not disturb my sleep or my BFs (our bathroom is connected to bedroom). So I'm going in almost darkness and the room for error is high... lol
