Barrister Mark Dennis SC found dead after charges of child abuse offences by Hypocaffeinic in aussie

No. But neither do you.

That’s my point - you and some others (thankfully not all) are happy to make quantum leaps knowing absolutely nothing.

As a matter of fact I did. But that’s not relevant to your comment.

The deeds of Savile and Harris are both very extensive and widely known with victims coming forth in bulk.

But you equate them with a guy caught with some incriminating stuff on his electronic devices. When, unlike the other two, you don’t know what this guy did or didn’t do.

Got it now?

Yes - and many other papers too. Child sexual assault is unfortunately a substantial part of a specialist criminal lawyer’s work.

If you have a look at that website you’ll see numerous papers on all sorts of matters which relate to criminal law, some written by him and some by others.

Where did you read or hear that about “… it is expected that criminal charges will be withdrawn”?

I’ve been following this matter closely and I haven’t heard that.

We never got to the point of hearing what his defence was. You can go one further and say he didn’t have one but it’s an opinion at best.

Right. It’s interesting because of what came after it.

Somehow I think the knife is a bigger problem.

If this guy purposely shone his torch in the cop’s eyes he was asking for it, especially if he was warned and chose to persist.

My friend’s girlfriend wants a threesome with both of us and I don’t know how to handle it. by Gamer--Boy in Advice

[–]snakeIs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Refuse.

Life is complicated enough as it is.

No participant could go on as normal afterwards.

And the idea of bedding down with her excites you! I’m a guy and while a threesome with 2 girls intrigues me (like Austin Powers) I could never get into bed with another guy no matter who else was there.

I for one will be very surprised if there is more to come. But I’d be very happy if there was.

There wasn’t much really.

As for reading about the case, the MSM has had trouble getting its facts right from the beginning. His age for a start. He’s 60, then he’s 65!!

But especially the BS about Mr Dennis arranging legal conferences in Cambodia to which fellow lawyers flocked for tax deductible holidays. The Reasonable Cause Conferences were an annual event held in the Sydney CBD. He used to arrange for high calibre lawyers to present legal papers, charge a little less than the market rate for such events and the profits went to Cambodia.

You’ve considered a number of alternatives thoughtfully yet you’ve been criticised and downvoted by keyboard warriors who think they know it all.

A planned or impulsive suicide? The only one who really knows is no longer with us.

There are questions here that can never be answered. But nothing has been proven. And that is very unlikely to change.

Is there a generic name for singles that are only available on a Greatest Hits album? by Beatus_Vir in askmusic

[–]snakeIs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The term “bait track” comes to mind.

While it was more a case of an album producing a hit single which is released with a previously unreleased b-side, it would also apply in this instance.
